I have just booked this one today, really looking forward to the short break. Arcadia is my favourite ship. Also booked one on Oceana as well this morning.

Booked this on Saturday for our wedding anniversary on 22nd. 4th time on Arcadia and really looking forward to it.. especially Amsterdam.

Thought I would start a roll call if that is OK with OP...

We are Jenni and Steve from Surrey..50 mins from Southampton... only ever cruised with P&O and loved every minute of every cruise.

Hi everyone,

We are Peter & Jennifer from Wrexham, however, I am a Swansea lad born and bred. Second time on Arcadia she was our very first cruise ship a few moons ago now. Looking forward to the cruise, 2 ports we have never been to.

Found this thought it would be of interest regarding travel.

Southampton boat show starts Friday 13th September until 22nd September so anybody heading down to join a cruise makes sure you allow for the extra traffic that will be in and around Southampton especially by the docks.
Regards

Peter

Hello everyone, my name is Sarah and I'm from Middlesex. This will be my second cruise ever (I went on a 2 nighter in July) and I'm quite apprehensive to be honest!

How lucky are you my favourite hotel and restaurant in Southampton, we are lucky to be close enough to pop down for the weekend and enjoy an meal and bottle of wine at Ennios.

Not long now  so looking forward to it....

So far the forecast is getting brighter on Friday that will carry over the weekend into next week. So, hopefully Belgium and Holland will be dry.

We will be at the Aquarius pool (aft) for a glass of fizz as we set sail from Southampton, would be good to see some of you there. Sorted out what I what to wear last night, seem to have so much for just 4 nights, but then I am ready for all weathers during the day

Although we only live 50 miles from the port we are leaving nice and early so we beat the Boat Show traffic - it is the final weekend and weather not bad so could be really busy. We will get down there, park in West Quay and have breakfast, then a little browse round John Lewis, before heading to the Ocean Terminal and boarding the lovely Arcadia - should be a good, fun few days.

have a safe journey down all x
Jenni
