Must be a popular cruise as our cabin category has now sold out :o

Aurora is the only P&O ship that will be in Madeira for the NYE fireworks :D

Last years was completely sold out quite a few months in advance as well. It does have the great advantage that there is no one on board bragging that they got a late deal for less than half the amount you paid !!

Good evening all, I have just had a look at this cruise.... Sounds fab! We were on Azura for New Years Eve in Madeira (2012) and it was simply wonderful. You will have an amazing time, just wish we could book it too, but we are impatiently awaiting news on our nephew's upcoming wedding in Australia, once we know we can then get back to cruising!

Hello All,

We have booked this one didn't think about using "Meeting Place" and I set up a page on Aurora 2014.
I think I will let all the contributors know about this thread so that they can link in.

Really looking forward to this as it ticks many wish list boxes. First time on Aurora, Xmas on holiday and NYE in Madiera. What could be better.

Looking forward to meeting people on the cruise.

I used the old P&O community site in the past and met up with some lovely people on our cruises over the years.

We are also on this one. We were booked on the 2013 one, but my wife was diagnosed with mouth cancer in September, and had her operation on Christmas Eve, so were unable to go. Her operation was a complete success, so we decided to try again this year. I guess we will have some strange feelings on Christmas Eve, thinking of Irene's 7 hours on the operating table last year.

It's never to early to look forward to a cruise Romig.

We booked one for 2016 and I'm looking forward to that one also.

Has anyone booked any excursions yet? We have had a quick look but haven't decided which to do.
Hotel booked for the night before we sail, like that booked just in case the weather turns bad.

Looking forward to the Christmas experience onboard.

Don't think we'll be booking any excursions as we've done most of the ports before, we've got our hotel booked too :D

We haven't been to La Palma before so there looks to be a couple of excursions that may be worth doing. As you say most of the others done on land holidays.
Hope you had a good cruise in the Adriatic, we fly out to Dubrovnik on Wednesday. Here's hoping for some good weather.
