Well, we're off on Friday 9th October. it's been a long time coming, since booking in April 2014. The 14 days will flash by.

Well, that's B523 done and dusted. Mixed weather, sunshine and showers, hot in Alicante, cloudburst in Gib. - got soaked.
As to Britannia - some things good, some not so good. I do think the lack of a central staircase through all the decks is a design flaw. We were on deck 15 mid-ship and to get to Horizons meant either waiting for a lift - which a) could take ages and b) were frequently full, or going to one of the ends of the ship to use the stairs there. Would go on her again if the itinerary and timing were right and no other ships offering similar.
Crew were friendly and helpful apart from in Limelight where service was slow and staff miserable. "Eric and Ernie" were great.
