Oriana X406
After being on Oriana for this cruise, I feel that Oriana needs to be dry docked and the problem with the starboard propellor/shaft/seal be sorted permanently. The vibration in the Oriental Restaurant was terrible, it could also be felt throughout the ship.
Boarding was delayed two hours to allow the ship to be deep cleaned because of a serious outbreak of Norovirus on the previous cruise. Not a complaint, very glad they did it. No outbreaks on our cruise.
One more moan to go, the Conservatory was like a scrap in a motorway service station.
On the plus side. We did get to see the Northern Lights and actually get some photos. Plus our table companions were brilliant company.
We will only return to Oriana when the existing engineering problems have been sorted.

we had table 11 in oriental which is right at the back and over the propeller it was noisy on 2 nights but not to bad the rest of the time certainly nobody on our table for 8 was to worried about it,
and there were some cases of noro virus on board as I got it and was confined to our cabin for 3 days.

Sorry to hear about your illness. As far as we were aware our cruise was illness free. Just goes to show, don't believe all you hear. Did you manage to enjoy most off the cruise and did you get the Northern Lights?
