You have picked a lovely ship for your first cruise and honeymoon, Oceana is fantastic. If you have any questions
about her or anything, feel free to ask.

Welcome to the forum Gouldy9.
Looking at the passenger list so far you will be in good company. Don't let the piercings put you off! I just wish I was joining you.

so looks like lots of celebrations will be going on. I bet you are very excited.
If you or any of your party have any questions, feel free to ask.
Oceana is our favourite ship so in my opinion you have chosen the best in the fleet.

Re: Oceana E422 Western Med
Thank you! I do have one question that's been bugging me for a while actually. It could be a silly question but I've really no idea. We are travelling with two young children, our own daughter is 3 years old. I know it's a family ship and there's plenty for her to do but I'm curious about the railings around the ship. What are they like? I know I won't take my eyes off her but I do worry ha ha!

Re: Oceana E422 Western Med
Hi Aimeeb9
Welcome to the forum.
The railings are quite high but do have gaps between each rail, so definitely keep your eye on your little girl. I have been on 20 odd cruises
and never heard of any problems with young children. The kids clubs are apparently great for kids (no children myself) but this was evident
on our last Azura cruise where the youth crew enacted a pirate scene around one of the pool areas and the children had decorated
pirate hats and swords. All us adults so enjoyed it all and the kids were having a whale of a time.
I am sure you will have a wonderful time, not long to go.

Thank you. I don't think any of us will want to go on a 'normal' holiday again after this. I really can't wait. Hope you all have a wonderful time!

Our granddaughter had been on Aurora three times before she was five and loved every minute of it. She still talks fondly about it. The kids' club keeps them busy all the time. They say that the biggest complaint from the parents is that they never see their children.

Trust CMG to lower the standards of the forum..
Not long to go now.. Not cruised since April so I'm really in need of a cruise fix.. The cold
turkey is really hard to handle.
