OOps, slight slip on the keys I was that excited. I meant £2499 per person not per night. Works out £49 pppn.

We have noticed this week there are loads of reductions on different cruise lines/travel agents, alas we can't go on all of them.

This one is a ridiculous price: http://www.pocruises.com/a527a/mode-cabins/?search=true

I know it is Azura but £949 for a superior deluxe balcony!

Excellent deal if you have a bomb proof stomach. Sadly we could never even consider a transatlantic without choice of cabin location.

TA's are always quite cheap, but it augurs well for some cheap last minute Nov/Dec fly cruises.

Well a really good one came up yesterday in the email inbox
24 nights on Arcadia Caribbean Cruise Nov 25 - 19 Dec 2015 inside cabin for £999 thats just under £42 pppn. We however are already going to me on a cruise during this time. If we were not we would definately have booked this.

January 6th four nights to Hamburg and back (really great reception arriving into Hamburg usually) Queen Elizabeth £299 balcony cabin.

We are definitely tempted by this one.

Yes. Hapag-Lloyd are offering 5% early booking discount off their prices for cruises booked on Europa 2 more than 365 days in advance.

Add to that there is a €400.00 OBC for drinks courtesy of Hapag-Lloyd and a €500.00 OBC for excursions offered by SixStarCruises.co.uk.

Delighted to say I've availed myself of that deal and with only a 10% deposit required and full payment only 4 weeks before the cruise you can't go wrong on this top rated cruise ship.

A return to Europa 2 is something that i shall look forward to.

RCI's 2017 launch offer is very good, especially if you are a Crown & Anchor member which you are if you have sailed with Celebrity.
We have just secured a 14nt Canaries cruise in September for just over £100pppd, including gratuities, for a balcony cabin and managed to get the last remaining accessible cabin.

We received an e-mail today from Iglu showing a 7 night cruise on Queen Elizabeth 30th September 2016, balcony cabins Grades BE/BF/CA/CB for £789. I checked the Cunard website to confirm, their price shows £799, still a bargain in our opinion. The ports are Vigo, Lisbon, Oporto and Cherbourg. We've booked :D

Regards

Lynda

No fly Caribbean and US cruises on P&O.
I have just been researching cruises and prices for another round trip Caribbean and discovered that all the small ship aficionados are paying higher prices for their cruises than I will be on Ventura.
Prices per person per day are:-
Aurora from £83 - £104 (Xmas cruise) for insides, £129 - £131 (£158 (Xmas) for balconies.
Arcadia £79 - £81 (£106 Xmas) insides, £112 - £117 (£152 Xmas)
Oceana £77- £80 insides, £118 - £148 balconies.
Oriana £70 - £85 insides, £154 - £168 balconies.
Ventura £75 - £80 insides, £107 - £114 balconies.
I do so appreciate that those who prefer the smaller ships are subsidising my cruise on a newer ship with better amenities, especially for wheelchair users.

Yes but do you think this is because the smaller ships attract the more well heeled cruiser, the ones who shop Waitrose and John Lewis.

You may have a point there Ray, however I think I will fit in with the rest of the Tesco crowd on Ventura. :sarcasm: 8-)

2 weeks in Portugal at my sister's house for free
cheap Ryanair flights for peanuts
£150 for car hire
a few quid to stock the wine rack and fridge

all in all a right bargain ;-) and no dress code and no 10 bob millionaires to spoil it
