Gym facilities
Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but does the gym on Oceana have a sauna/stream room and jacuzzi, or are the only jacuzzis the ones outside?

have a look here:
http://www.pocruises.com/cruise-ships/o ... tual-tour/
it's on the lido deck. The preamble mentions sauna - in the Spa - but not a jacuzzi

If it's frothy water you like, SS, then borrow a good length of rope, go to the stern of the ship, take a deep breath and.................................................................

Re: Gym facilities
Do you have to pay for the spa to use the sauna? Or is there one onboard for the great unwashed?

Didn't pay on Oriana, so would imagine it's the same policyoldbluefox wrote:Do you have to pay for the spa to use the sauna? Or is there one onboard for the great unwashed?

Re: Gym facilities
When we cruised on Arcadia we were told that the sauna and steam room were part of the spa package and you had to pay to use them but in the brochure it says that they are included in the price of the cruise. Can somebody clear this one up for us as I would like to use the steam room and sauna on Azura in a few weeks but I'm not prepared to pay for hot rocks to be chucked on my back just to use the steam room.

Re: Gym facilities
Can't imagine they'd have difference policies for different ships in the fleet, Ray. My only experience of P&O is Oceana and Oriana and, while you have to go through the spa to get to the steam rooms, you don't have to pay for a treatment (which would cost considerably less onshore).
Now Cunard - that's a different matter. You do have to pay there, and treatments are extra.
