Adonia Baltic

A quick message from Adonia at present on Sarameena Island in Estonia. First time we've been on the ship and she's lovely, so elegant and boarding was so quick and no queues. Plated meals fine, hot and well presented with the opportunity to ask for more if we wish. Had a Macmillan Charity bike ride from Tracey Clegg and members of the entertainment team - they cycled the length of the Kiel Canal on a very murky Sunday while Adonia transited the canal - 68 miles in 8 hours. They raised over 2000 pounds - fantastic effort.

Had talks on everything from Queen Victoria and Prince Albert to Harold Shipman and near death experiences - the latter two not connected! There is a play on tonight. Dress code very well observed, had two formal evenings so far as we now have several days port calls with Tallin tomorrow and St. Petersburg on Friday and Saturday.

Love to come back on the ship again - yes most people probably over 50 - as are we! But very few wheelchairs - probably not a cruise for those with severe walking difficulties as there is so much walking on tours particularly in St. P. A very friendly ship and the crew really seem to like being on here.\

Will post more after St. P.

Thanks for the message OBF - yes we knew about the magazine but so far no-one has asked for autographs!
