Lynda and David wrote:Hello
We’re off on Ventura tomorrow; I’ll let you all know in a couple of weeks how we got on with our boarding slot of 1.30pm.
Our original plan was to leave home about 11.30 which would have got us to Southampton about 1pm allowing for road works but the problem tomorrow is the rugby final at Twickenham and that our route out of London is the road straight past Twickenham Stadium (the A316). I was told yesterday that the road will be closed all day so we now have to head down to the M25 then round to the M3. We’ll leave home about 10.30 and if we’re early we’re happy to sit and wait but if we’re late it will be interesting to see if we are allowed to check in straight away.
Regards
Lynda
We're sailing on Ventura too and our allocated slot is 12.30 check-in so I too will let you know how we get on. Ooh can't wait..
