Norwegian Escape
Norwegian Escape looks fantastic and probably way beyond our budget.
If there are any facebook members on here Debbie Weir has got some great photos of the ship on her Timeline page.
Very posh.

Tis huuuuge
We went on the '24 hour cruise to nowhere' on Wednesday (I think we were actually paying to snag the thing - but didn't come across any snags)
All very nice, sparkling new, lots of opportunities to pay a supplement to eat differently but the included dining choices were good. The colour palette was nice. The show was absolutely superb! Full length though, 1hr 40 minutes - people were sneaking out with rumbling tummies!
The corridors, stairs and lift lobbies were spacious and felt uncrowded.
Muster was a shambles
The ship was waaay too hot
Happy to answer any questions, if I can. I don't think we'll rush to book, just on size

Perhaps someone had listened to the Norwegian weather forecast before setting the thermostat !!sunseeker99 wrote:The ship was waaay too hot

There's quite an extensive review of her here. She looks a lovely ship with lots to do onboard.

Re: Norwegian Escape
You only need lots to do on board if you're staying on board ... what sort of a cruise is that
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Only watched the very first minute of the video Foxy. As soon as she said it takes 4,500 passengers all interest instantly vanished.oldbluefox wrote:There's quite an extensive review of her here. She looks a lovely ship with lots to do onboard.

Re: Norwegian Escape
I've done a sort of photo-blog on another (general, non-cruise) forum.
I'll put the link if you want, and it's permitted
It's a private forum, like this, so you'd have to go to the bother of registering
I shan't be offended if no-one says yes - or if it's not allowed to link to other forums

I am sure the ModPlods wouldn't mind as it is related to this thread anyway. If anyone complains, tell them "Cubie sent you" !!sunseeker99 wrote:I've done a sort of photo-blog on another (general, non-cruise) forum.

Re: Norwegian Escape
Looks like a perfectly bog standard new cruise ship to me, albeit with water park type slides. So not sure why you would think it would be beyond your budget. Once the initial furore subsides I imagine it will be priced very similar to P&O ships, in fact its likely to be far more affordable, as well as more comfortable, than Aurora or Oriana.Stephen wrote:Norwegian Escape looks fantastic and probably way beyond our budget.

I don't think the cabin images I was looking at were inside cabins somehow
