We are also on this cruise as also is Daib on this forum.
There is also a group on FB for this cruise 'N603 Ventura to the Caribbean', with lots of other passengers.

That must be 5/6 years ago. Was that a Crows Nest get together or was it from the P&O forum? Any way it will be good to meet up in January. It's not far off.

OK so further back than I thought, do you remember the year. I know it was Belton Woods, which was a DeVere place but is now owned by Q Hotels.

Try about 2007 or earlier? I seem to remember you were travelling to Southampton after the meeting to go on your Cruise.

Could well be, we went away in the August and the November of that year. If that helps.Jean W wrote:Try about 2007 or earlier? I seem to remember you were travelling to Southampton after the meeting to go on your Cruise.

Booklet arrived today. This clearly means a cruise is coming.

From the content it looks more like a shore excursion extravaganza through the Caribbean.daib GC wrote:Booklet arrived today. This clearly means a cruise is coming.

Thanks for that Dai. We look forward to seeing you again.
Not long now and, as per usual, I am feeling quite sick. The lists seem to get longer. I am always the same and often wonder if it worth it which of course it is!

Had a letter today from P&O explaining the 'new' Embarkation process! No problems here.

Also received mine today and I am sure if I was Caribbean tier or above, or a suite passenger, then I would be feeling equally smug.daib GC wrote:Certainly cannot make it clearer.Jean W wrote:Had a letter today from P&O explaining the 'new' Embarkation process! No problems here.
However if P&O are genuinely wanting to improve my experience at the cruise terminal as they state in Chris Edgington's 2 page soliloquy, then they need to do better than give wheelchair passengers a 3:30 pm check in time with a 4:30pm sailaway time, according to ABP's cruise schedule; and still expect us to attend a pre cruise muster breifing probably around 3:45 - 4:00pm.
If we were to adhere to this timing, or are delayed because we arrive early, then this is very likely to be the most frustrating and aggravating embarkation we have ever had, and that includes a 2 hour wait in Fort Lauderdale while the Coral Princess had a Noro deep clean.
If they really want passengers to feel the Peninsular club's benefits are worthwhile, then they need to offer Mediterranean and probably Atlantic passengers as well, an earlier boarding slot following on from the "goldies."
But I don't believe in flying pigs and I don't want to hold my breathe indefinitely.

John all sail always are put back an hour to accommodate this ABP in this case is not correct. This was the case on both our Britannia cruises and everyone is reporting this as well. They may not need the extra time for the smaller ships.
