It's only Sky Sports for 3 months, at least, if you look on My Sky there a Covid19 update banner which explains what you can do under Sky Sports. Try to pause it online, but if that fails then phone them on 03337592157.Manoverboard wrote: ↑22 Mar 2020, 11:08I didn't know one could pause any payments to SKY …. tell me more kind Sir.

Could be first BBQ of the year later today here in sunny Devon. Might have to eat in though.

My son sent me a photo yesterday of my grandson cooking on the barbecue in their garden in Luxembourg - beautiful blue skies but it looked cold. Gardening again today for me - cut front lawn yesterday - going to tackle the back today - wish me luck - first cut of the season and its grown like hell

I was near your neck of the woods this morning in Lyme Regis for a very quiet walk along the water front.

But thank goodness you are home Merv and you have Trish - this is going to be a testing time for those of us who live on our own but I have to say so far so good. I am doing online dance classes, am in several WhatsApp groups and FaceTime is a godsend to communicate with the family and this good weather lifts the spirits - stay safe out there

We've decided to cut our Devon holiday short and return home tomorrow rather than Friday. As lovely as it is Mrs S is getting twitchy about the current situation. And to be honest I feel the same and will be happier once we are back in our own home. Never mind, we are back here in September depending how things pan out.

Re: The Children's Off Topic Thread
I see in this mornings paper that Jemima Goldsmith has been rebuked for saying she'd prefer to have coronavirus than ever attempt to set up a family zoom session again. I know just how she feels after trying to sign up and start one myself, I don't know why I bothered, I prefer to speak with family units individually anyway, and Whatsapp and Facebook Messanger are so easy to use why on Earth would anyone subject themselves to zoom torture.

I’m using it very successfully John I use it to access Nia classes (dance and movement to music) as my teacher has had to suspend classes. I’ve installed it on the tv, the iPad and MacBook but I’m only using it for the classes - I’m communicating with family like you using WhatsApp and FaceTime. Even though I only met you on one cruise Jan, I realised immediately that you were a bright and savvy lady, so not surprised you have managed zoom better than me.Jan Rosser wrote: ↑24 Mar 2020, 09:10I’m using it very successfully John I use it to access Nia classes (dance and movement to music) as my teacher has had to suspend classes.
