Crikey. 12 alleged drug smugglers arrested last weekend in Madeira. 6 arrived on an MSC ship from the Caribbean. 6 others already here awaiting delivery to transport onward to Europe. Two apparently staying at our hotel! I wondered why the cops were looking shifty when I met Stephen off Ventura.

Re: The Children's Off Topic Thread
Does anyone else think the advertising insert from a funeral insurance plan company that says, "If you can't pay for your funeral Who will", is rather pointless. Anyone who does not have enough savings to pay for their own funeral costs is hardly likely to have any spare cash to buy a funeral plan?

Agreed. Once we're gone our family can flog the silver to pay for it.

Not sure you'll get much of a send off with the funds from silver plate Merv, not that you'll be bothered
