Good old BBC weather forecasting. Couldn’t predict a pi** up in a brewery.

Full sun forecast all day today. What do we get, the worlds end cloud and showers all morning and cloud and sun in the afternoon.

I hate it this hot. A nightmare at night trying to sleep. Roll on tomorrow when things cool right down.

Yesterday, sun forecast all day so my sister-in-law and husband put up a gazebo so we would all be sheltered from the heat. What happened! Was it hot and sunny! No - it was blowing a gale, six of us sat inside the gazebo, could hardly hear ourselves talk with the wind blowing against the walls of the gazebo and then there was a gust so hard that the stitching holding the tapes of the walls to the uprights gave way and only by someone grabbing at it was the whole thing stopped from blowing over the garden wall into the road! So we grabbed glasses, cutlery etc. and went to find shelter indoors. Then huge spots of rain. Well I hope the last few days weren't Summer 2022. Mind you, anything over about 26C is too hot for me - no pleasing some people!

I got quite excited when I received an e-mail from Prem bonds saying I was a winner, I thought thats early this month, msybe its more than £25. So I rushed off to get my prem bond number but my balloon was burst when all I won was £25.

We've had similar luck with the Postcode Lottery. £10. No begging letters please and no, it won't change my life.

I have seen evidence of levelling up & the benefits of the Northern Powerhouse and possibly post Brexit deregulation. Yesterday a rag and bone man came down our street in his white Transit truck to which he’d attached a PA system to blare out ‘Rag-bone, rag-bone, old iron’.

There’s this strange looking wet stuff dropping from the sky. Any idea what it could be.

You do realise don't you that the BBC only publishes the forecast. It is allegedly a specialist professional meteorological organisation that provides it.
