Not a patch on my Birds custard powder mixture, in fact P&O's is a very pale and rather poor imitation.

Ah. Birds custard made with sterilised milk. Supreme. But still won't keep the light out of Shiney's cabin

As we would only book an inside cabin, the only light we have to worry about is that coming through the gaps in the door. During our first trip on the QM2, she was only a few weeks old and the door fitted perfectly with no light coming through. Now, in the same cabin, because she had a few years to settle!e, there is quite a gap round the frame, which we block off with cushions and pillows.

I do hope our newbies report back on their first cruises, and that they enjoy them.

You need to ask for this for Christmas Shiney. You'll get more sleep with the pillows on the bed!

Whatever its faults, it's certainly not "pale". Lately, it has been a lovely shade of Dayglo Orange and seems to get more vivid as the cruise progresses !

Well that does sound to be an improvement on the anemic custard we had on Britannia in August.

Well there's quite a lot of grey in Britannia's décor! Not pleasant for custard!!!!

It's a fashion icon who knows the difference between beige and taupe.
