Have P&O cocked up again and double booked.

http://www.pocruises.com/find-and-book/ ... octdec2017

We might be interested in R720P / Fyords / Aurora / Southampton - Southampton 10th - 22nd November 2017 (12 nights)

But

According to the September 16 - October 18 brochure she is doing R720 - Spain, Caribbean and Azores 29th Oct - 22nd November 2017 (24 nights)

This has already been discussed on CC and the concensus was that with the addition of Adonia's Caribbean cruise P&O had decided to change Aurora's roundtrip Carib. to something that might be more popular.........just saying.

I don't bother with CC so wouldn't know John.

So, does that mean the Fyords cruise is now off, in which case why email it to customers?

Makes you wonder where you'll end up when you make a booking

I would assume that the fjords is on.
We have done a couple of cruises with a letter after the cruise number and they were because of changes to destinations/days.
We did one on Adonia that was originally 17 days that had switched to 14. We only booked when it was 14 and got told this by a couple on our table who had booked when it was 17 days. Serious compo allegedly....

I doubt it. My guess would be option to cancel at no penalty or accept new itinerary with maybe a little OBC.

Not that it matters as we've decided to give it a miss. Will look for somewhere a bit warmer.

Reply from Cruise Kings.

"I am guessing they changed the itinerary after the brochure was printed. I can confirm the Aurora is sailing the North Cape on 10th."

Well that's not what they said however they did take 3 courses one night to bore 6 others with there story. They were quite moany as I recall. I switched off as I didn't really care. Due to there OBC they frequented the select dining every other night so didn't see much of them and the 2 nights we went select they were in the main dining room.

We didn't have the heart to tell them we booked 3 weeks from sailing and paid less than 1/2 price and got some OBC and a balcony.....

Steven... I don't think you can get compo for thinking about doing a cruise....

And from P&O...

"The R720 itinerary was recently cancelled due to commercial reasons to be replaced by two 12 night itineraries, R720N and R720P. The R720P is available to book and will not clash with any other itinerary."
