A307P get-together

#1

Post by PaulineF »

Calling anyone on this cruise (and A306A)!

I'd created a group on the old forum which had quite a few members before things went 'pop', and I'm hoping some of you have found your way on here! It'd be great if we could organise a get-together; I'd usually suggest the first sea day, but as this won't be for a while, maybe we could meet on the 22nd, at the sailaway from St Lucia? Breakers Bar might be a good spot. As it'll probably be crowded (and it's sometimes difficult to figure out who's who) I'd be happy to embarrass myself by wearing some very fetching headgear - some Union Jack deely boppers!

Hope to hear from you.

Hi Pauline, count us in. Can't wait to see your union jack deely boppers. A good starting point would be near the stools at the front of Breakers Bar. Good view then of what's going on. If I remember I will wear a Caribbean garland and a flower in my hair.

Not long now. So excited and can't wait to start packing. See you there.

I agree Sue, the bar stools are a good vantage point.

We're really excited too! Looking forward to meeting you. :)

Things are sorted Sue and counting down. Decided to purchase new hand luggage, our old ones weighed 2.5Kg empty. Just bought 2 X IT Light cases from Argos, weight empty .6Kg. Means I can pack more.

On a nice note, after Dominica and our Helicopter Trip in St Lucia was cancelled I penned a letter to P&O expressing my disapointment and not being told why ports/excursions where cancelled. Just got off the phone with P&O, thanking me for my letter, saying they have passed my concerns on to their Customer Service department and as a gesture of good will, I will find a bottle of Champange in our cabin on arrival. Looking forward to that.
Regards

I'm still here Sue! I've been slogging away at an assignment for my degree - once it's been submitted I can begin to think about cruise packing :)

Getting really excited now, can't wait!

Pauline
