It's a lovely settting OBF, it was a Christmas like no other for Mobiettta and I ... we were like kids on this cruise
Maybe I will post a few more pics

You are back in control, Captain, as of nowallatc wrote: ↑27 Aug 2020, 16:46If I read this section's itinerary correctly the next and last port on this leg is Bruges where I shall re-embark (if permitted !)
I suggest from there we head off up the east coast of the UK with maybe a few unusual ports to Scotland and the Scottish Isles then back down the west coast, towards Liverpool, across to Ireland via IOM, back over to Bristol, and finally back round to Southampton where this epic voyage can complete.
Ideas for ports on this next sector please.

Same tidal effect at Great Yarmouth.Manoverboard wrote: ↑02 Sep 2020, 08:11Lowestoft ... Hmmm
We were on our honeymoon and arrived like a couple of cool dudes in our Blake's Cruise Ship for two. Secured the boat and went for a look see at their theatre etc, Joe Brown had the ' star ' billing I recall. Not much there apart from amusement arcades and cafes we decided but fine to pass an hour or two. Shock horror somebody had stolen our cruiser ... oh, no, the tide had gone out but we had no idea at that time that sea levels fluctuated to that extent. Only one thing to do and that was to jump off the quayside onto the boat albeit with fingers crossed that we didn’t go through the boards, we have never returned to Lowestoft. Sorry no pics
