I just read that it will be opposite the redeveloped Leisure Work which would, as you say, put it between Mayflower and City.

The deal seems to be with MSC and NCL so I doubt that Carnival will be using it - unless it has better facilities for Iona, but Carnival have just modified Ocean to accommodate her.

Will take some doing to have it up and running for the 2021 season although the way the 2021 season is looking that will not be happening until 2022!!

It will be in berth 102 which is to the north west of the City Cruise Terminal which is berth 101.

“ the multifunctional terminal has been designed to accommodate all existing ships as well as next generation ships that are on order. It will be capable of handling one large ship up to 6,000 passenger capacity or two medium sized vessels simultaneously and will be equipped with two air bridges to cater to the port’s tidal movements.”
