So sorry its ED not BD. There are only 8 of them I think. All at the stern. I was able to pick the grade but not the deck. That will remain a surprise until boarding I expect.

So sorry its ED grade not BD. I am told there are only 8 of these all at the stern next to the suites. Booked the grade but will have to wait and see which deck we will be on.

True that's what the adverts said, but I assume the posters know what they have booked!

My third attempt at sailing on Enchanted Princess failed yesterday! Took the option of a replacement cruise next year on Regal Princess and thereby got the cruise for £1,720 less than its current 2022 price.

Round Britain does seem very popular.
P&O only do a few each year and they are expensive and sell very quickly.
Empty vessels .. and all that

Have one booked for next year on Arcadia. Did the round Britain in 2019 on one of Orianas last cruises and loved it so have booked again for a slightly different itinerary. First visit to the Faroe islands they were so lovely.
I didnt expect to enjoy it as much as I did.
P and O only seem to do one a year and they are popular.

I know they are just a way of getting started again this year but I wonder if their popularity might lead to more in the future? Not sure I'd fancy doing one of the all-at-sea ones but with ports of call (like the Cunard we are doing next year) they seem a lovely way of seeing more of our own country.

Yes, we also fancy doing a round Britain cruise once ports of call are reinstated, with Ireland in the itinerary.

I just wish that the round Britain cruises operated more like a bus with pick ups at various ports around the country rather than having to go down to Southampton to come all the way back up north.

You mean like Costa Concordia used to do? That went well!

I agree with you David although none of the Costa ships are small enough to dock in Cardiff!!! My only experience of Costa was flying to Naples to board the ship and then picking up as you say at all the ports - all went smoothly until a family were late and had to be picked up by a small boat and then literally jumped on board through a door - unbelievable

I said the same back in post 25. If they operated a HOHO system I would actually consider it, otherwise I would much prefer to wait for cruises in the warmer climes.

Not quite a HOHO - more you get on at say Liverpool and get off at Liverpool, or you get on at Belfast and get off at Belfast.

It should not be too difficult to organise as it would basically operate the same way as sectors of a Worldie.
