Caribbean March, getting a little twitchy
Being regular Caribbean cruisers for many years, we have planned, our own shore itineraries, therefore any restrictions regarding shore visits will be unacceptable. Given that the balance is due 12 weeks prior to our early March departure, and without a major relaxation with regard to leaving the ship, we will cancel, hopefully transferring the deposit to later in 2022. As our choice of cabin is already sold out, it will however offer the opportunity for others to join the cruise.

We haven't given up just yet. We are still booked for Caribbean early next March and remain hopeful (but then I said that about Sep - we were meant to be joining Azura in 2 days time ). A few weeks ago we were looking at some of the organized Caribbean shore excursions (from old brochures) and we found several that we had skipped previously that we thought we might give a go.
Maybe they will use cancellations to 'thin out' the number of bodies on board. I suspect however that the cruise lines will have to play the long game and see how the winter flu season goes.

Already switched our Jan 2022 Caribbean to Baltic in May. Even that will change if self propelled shore trips not allowed at time of balance payment.
