B2B and Covid Testing

#1

Post by david63 »

Following on from Sue's debacle on Aurora for those doing B2B this is the "official" response from P&O
From 25 September 2021 onwards, back-to-back bookings are allowed. Guests will be required to take a complimentary COVID-19 test whilst on board at the end of the first cruise, and will be permitted to remain on board once they receive a negative test result.

Guests who test positive for COVID-19 will be denied boarding on the next cruise. If you’re denied boarding, yourself and any guests travelling from your household will be given a non-refundable Future Cruise Credit to the value of your holiday (which is not ABTA or ATOL protected). This can be used on any new P&O Cruises booking, valid for 2 years from the date of issue, and any pre-cruise purchases made through My P&O Cruises will be refunded.
What it does not say is when the test will be done

Is that not the 'end of the first cruise' bit?

Yes - but does that mean on the day of disembarkation (which would mean the packing/unpacking) or, more logically, the day before? (Whoops - sorry I used logic in the same sentence as P&O!!)

Hmmm, can see your point. You would like to think it would involve not having to repack and unpack again.
