You specify your party size. And I'm pretty sure there was an option to share or not. Never affected us this time as there were 5 of us. And to be fair who'd want to share with us!
Ken.?

I keep remembering other things. Two more:

There is no night time turn-down service at the moment, no idea if that is permanent. But someone (not our regular steward) did attend to make up the bed settee in our daughter's/granddaughers' cabin each night and our steward put it all away again in the morning. And our daughter said it was as comfortable as the proper bed.

And there are a number of shops. Best of all there is a unit among them where they do the various tat sales during the week, so no car boot sale cluttering up the atrium.

It was supposed to be coming back last month - but due to the increase in Covid on board it appears to have been delayed.

I can’t understand that if the steward attends the cabin in the morning then why can’t he do the run down in the evening, Covid or no Covid.

And no i never came across him covering other duties around the ship n the evening.

I think the reason is they have fewer stewards at the moment due to staff shortages, so they are looking after more cabins and working longer in the mornings.. I'm not really bothered about them turning back the corner of my duvet, but if they could just deliver a decent box of chocolates on day one..

I sent him a couple of messages but no reply yet. They’re probably still welding the metal bars.
