Extra dish

Post by barney »

Nice result yesterday.
Email from P&O telling us that we’ll get an extra £100 on board spend for our January Canary cruise.
So £360 on the deal plus another £100 plus £60 for shareholders obc.
Should I tell Mrs Barney?
I’ll be heading for the Ice Cuvée.
She’ll be heading to the Chanel.
😂
Empty vessels .. and all that

I’d be heading for both if it was me - Ice Cuvée and Chanel Coco Mademoiselle perfume

We got the same extra OBC on Iona. Our net spend at the end, excluding a birthday present I bought on hoard for Trish, was £15.

Jan, my favourite perfume Coco Mademoiselle. I am already planning to use some of my obc on stocking up in December on Iona.

We got some extra OBC for our last cruise on Aurora but it still didn't cover the outgoings! Had a real chuckle when I went to reception near the end of the cruise to get a print out of our bill. There was a gentleman asking how much OBC he had left, to be told £160.00. How does that happen!? Still hoping they might give us some extra for next years Canary Isle cruise.

My daughter has said I’m buying my wife this perfume for Christmas...

English Oak & Hazelnut Cologne
£110.00
£110.00per100ml

The perfume is described as one of “selfless love and Charity” so I’m asking my daughter to chip in.
….
Apparently, our daughter said it’s lovely.

£110  are you mad.

What’s wrong with a bar of soap.

They say it’s the thought that counts, so that’s what I’m getting Mrs S for Christmas ;)

But does she realise what you're thinking about?

Not if I value my health :)
