Hi pinchers,

Just wanted to mention that l'm still sticking to my lunch time rations of Rivita, cottage cheese, olives and two, somtimes three slices of black pudding. Now l know black pudding isn't to everyone's taste but l've just changed from Bury Black pudding to an old fashioned irish Black Pudding called Conakilty, and my gawd it tastes lovely. Gently fry each side for 60 seconds and then get it down your neck before anyone else gets the chance to savour this well guarded secret recipe delight.

Before you say black pudding tastes yuk........try Conakilty and you may just change your mind.

Regards

keith

I love Black Pudding but never eat it whilst dieting. It is full of fat.

Hi Sue,

Everything in moderation is the best way to consume black pudding.......yes it dose contain quite a lot of fat but it also contains loads of Iron and various other healthy vitamins.....l think l deserve a little treat having consumed 28lbs of cottage cheese these past six months........btw weighed myself this morning.......only a 1 lb to go :D

Well done Keefy . A treat yes I agree but your post made it sound like you were having 2 or 3 slices every day. I guess if you only have 1lb to lose it works for you.

Good news, I hopped on the scales at the Well Man clinic today to find that I am 4lbs lighter than I thought, their scales must need calibrating, but I did keep 3 items of clothing and some socks on; so 'Hey Ho'. Good cholesterol is great bad, and bad cholesterol is very low, and cholesterol score is 4.1. No sign of diabetes, and I came home quite chuffed feeling like a 10/- millionaire ( ;) ). Our practise nurse has a better bed side manner than the doctors. so I never mid going there.

Good morning pinchers,

  I've done it

Ok, its taken me two weeks longer than l had anticipated but today l've weighed in 29lbs lighter than l did when l started the onelife 'pinch an inch diet back on Jan 3rd.....chuffed or what!!....well if l'm being honest l'm a little bit miffed as l'd been waiting for that magic 11st 10lbs reading to appear on the scales, which as you know was the target weight l had set myself. Sod it... when l jumped on the scales this morning it read 11st 9lbs

There have been quite a few ups and downs along the way, some weeks losing several lbs, some in which l gained a couple, but averaging it out over the 6 months it works out at an average weight lose of just over a lb a week.

Thanks pinchers.... doing it together has made dieting a whole lot more enjoyable.

So may l take this opportunity to thank my fellow pinchers for contributing to this thread and indeed keeping it going when keefy has been less active due to diet induced fatigue.

Well its just a case of hovering for the next few days then we are off for our long awaited 17 day cruise.

Stay strong pinchers and remember.....(keefy did it, and so can you)

Regards

keith

Congratulations on achieving you target plus 1lb for good measure. Now go away on your 17 day cruise and enjoy yourself. We did a similar itinerary last year and loved it.

Well done Keith. Have a fab cruise.

I hope you continue this thread on your return as some of us still need it. I have finally managed to lose the extra I put on whilst on Azura in June but still need to work on the last stone I put on whilst on the world cruise. Hoping to have lost it before Xmas cruise but have another 19 day one on Adonia before that.
Please don't desert us for too long.

Oops! Going up. 142lbs this morning, 2lbs up on my preferred weight of 140 lbs. Less wine, more water required.

Have a great holiday, Keith and family.

I've heard a rumour that extra double creamy icecream is being supplied for your cruise, and if that's not bad enough there'll be superbly tempting naughty cakey too!

Have a great time, come back happy and safe - and 'Carry on Pinching'.

Good morning pinchers and Mob,

Firstly thanks for all of your lovely ' well done' messages and indeed your best wishes for our forthcoming cruise.....it can't come soon enough as my wife is out cruise shopping again today

Have no fear Sue, keefys 'pinch an inch diet' is here to stay as Mob is never far off with his advice/prediction so if his keefy 1 stone prediction proves correct l'll be needing to get back on the diet as soon as l get back from our cruise.

Thinking of diets.....keefy will be starting his new diet on the18th August so if there are any of you out there who are looking to shed a lb or two and wish to join in with our merry bunch of pinchers please feel free to sign up...Oh, and l've waverd the signing on fee yet again

Weighed in this morning at my target weight of 11 st 10lbs which aint bad when you consider l tucked into an 'lndian' last night....messy old business.

Stay strong pinchers and remember.....' An abundance of cream, makes broad of beam'

Regards

keith

Now that's a lovely offer Keefy, but put me out of my suspense - what do I want with a shower curtain?

No, I honesty do want an answer!

HI Em,

I can think of a lots of uses for a P&O shower curtain, especially at the price l'm willing to sell on to you...How about a nappy changing cover for your bespoke nappy changing unit...or a potty carpet protector just in case your grandchild decides to do it on your shag pile rug. As yet we don't have any Grandchildren so still use ours in the downstairs shower cubicle, although when not in use it doubles up as a table cloath cover . ....do pop in in for dinner anytime you're passing

How many do you want?

Regards

keith

well done me ex porkster and salad dodger

I assume you will be going to the onboard gym, to keep the weight off?, on your cruise, it would be a shame to undo all your hard work by pigging out for 17 days but as said previously, it would allow you to stretch this out even longer

well done
