My motto is, once it's gone it's gone. Until then, enjoy it

Mind you, I did chuck out half a tube of salt and vinegar Pringles yesterday after deciding I don't really like them. In fact that is one of the things I AM going to try and cut back on, (no Onelife, that pleasure has long since been removed, not cut back, before you say anything ;) and that is salt. I do like my salt, too much really, so it's going to have to go. Well, we'll see :)
Sorry Stephen, I haven’t had time to read all of your post but I think I get the jist of what you are saying...have you considered buying your wife a box of "love chocolates"? It works for me, although I must warn you it can be a little off-putting watching them eat them while you’re trying to make love

Nothing like rubbing salt into the wounds Hey!

Talking about waist sizes l can still comfortable get into my size 36 trousers (if l wear then halfway down my bum).....thinking about it where do waist sizes start and finish?. You often see gentlmen with thier trousers buckled somewhere near their belly buttons, whereas l wear my belt just above my hip bone . Is there a definitive answer to where your waist starts and finishes? Perhaps one for the ladies.....but you can answer it if you want to DarkestOne

I'm well impressed with you 'pinch an incher's' and will be joining you from next Monday ...

After 24 days of continual eating and drinking I need to 'pace' myself although I'm feeling pretty smug as I've just been on the scales and I've only put 3lbs on ( and that was fully clothed )

Hi Jo,

Please forgive me for not acknowledging your post earlier but I did try and post but it got lost somewhere in my new Samsung tablet. I’ve been having verifying degrees of success with it hence the reason I’m now posting from a different computer.

Did I catch that right when you said you’ve only put on 3lbs? Jo, I think you’re taking this pinch-an-inch diet too seriously...gets stuck in girl you’re on holiday

As you will have noticed the pinchers have made a cracking start to a healthier new year...we even have a few who are waiting to join us but haven’t as yet got rid of all their mince pies

Btw I’ve sorted out your membership (No Charge) but please don’t tell the others I’ve said that as I’m about to send out their signing up fees.

Enjoy the rest of your cruise.

Kind regards

Keefy

Well Keith,

There I was about to sign up and you go and mention fees.

Unfortunately i'm still distraught from an horrendous Christmas, lost 8lbs over 3 days, horrificly ill with food poisoning and/or virus. Spent the time in bed hearing the frivolity as family and friends devoured the food and booze which went untouched by yours truly.

My diet will commence on 1st March lasting for five weeks. Target from 252lbs to 224, back to fighting weight, ready for allcomers, especially curmudgeonly crusaders. ;)

Cheers!

Thank you for the "free" membership ( mum's the word :shh: )

Btw pinchers don’t be surprised if you get a PM from a web site called stevelovesleather. com. Please be aware this is a front for a pervert who targets slimming clubs as a way of fulfilling his sexual fantasies :sarcasm:

Hi jonty...l always make exceptions for newbies, how dose half price sound?

Really sorry to hear you've been unwell over the christmas period...not a good time to get ill with all that scrumptious food flying around...Oop's sorry l don't suppose you got to eat much turkey.

Well look on the bright side you're a few lbs ahead of the rest of us pinchers....just don't count on winning the coveted celery stick for slimmer of the week award....as this can only be awarded to those who lose weight due to thier own efforts and not because of viruses/ food poisoning etc... sorry l know this sounds a little harsh but if you are getting your subscription for half price what can you expect?

Nice to see you back jonty

Regards

Keefy, I too must wear my trousers just above the hips. I still fit into some 34" waist trousers, but when I got Wina to measure around my "widest point" - ie around the belly button, i was somewhat dismayed to find that it's 41"

Gave away a pack of excess mince pies today.

Hi Romig,

As you know I’m not one who gets easily embarrassed (other than the thing I’ve already told you about) however if you think I’m going to mention the 48ins I carry round my midriff you’ve got another thing coming.

May I be the first to applaud your efforts in trying to get rid of that unsightly thing you wear around your otherwise slim waist....welcome aboard Romig and please pass on my best wishes to your lovely wife.

And yes, you do need to join the pinchers if you want to look as good as I will in 5 months time

Regards

Keith

I started the diet yesterday and ate reasonably sensibly all day but by the evening all I could think of was McVities dark chocolate biscuits. I allowed myself 2 hoping that would help but by 9.30pm I decided the best thing to do was clean my teeth so that I wouldn't be tempted again. The only thing to do to stop me thinking about food was to have an early night so I was in bed by 10pm. Desperate measures but it helped.

Good luck everyone.

Hi Romig,

I was only trying to make you feel better last night so came up with an estimated mesurment of 48ins. Having got the tape mesure out this morning l'm pleasantly surprised to find that l'm only 3 inchs wider than you, which hopfully will keep the Runnerbean from calling me names.
