QB, your council tax must be really low, as it looks like your council does not tend to spend any money on the upkeep of your roads.

Not something I thought about until someone mentioned it ... the tongue is the only muscle in the body that does not connect between two bones.
Bloody useless and hard to work into casual conversation though.

I have no real desire to become a vegan but I thought that a Charlie Bigham's Paneer Tikka Masala would be worth a try. During Thursday evening we watched a ' How Do They Do It ' program and learnt that acid is added to separate the cheese during the manufacturing process ... think it may be best to stick with the chicken option.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

A wood frog can old onto its urine for up to 8 months.
By that point my bladder would be the size of a small African country.

It’d make my arms ache holding for that long

The dot above the 'i' or 'j' is known as a 'tittle'.
My guess that a tittle was something that happened behind the bicycle sheds at school was a little off the mark.

Until today I didn’t know that credit card companies ( who are always encouraging us to ‘go paperless’) only give you (easy) access to 12 months worth of statements. We needed to confirm a membership payment that we had made (mid 2019 but we weren’t certain of the exact month.) Fortunately my better half insists on paper statements & keeps them in a file. It’s not all credit cards which do this. We have a bank credit card which gives easy access over a much longer period but the two cards we use most often both have the 12 month limit. I always assumed that the paperless statement record for ccs was the same as for bank statements (7 or 9 year.).

In order to cash in one both sides of the market, Elvis Presley's manager also sold badges saying 'I hate Elvis'.

Not checked this one so presenting it as read.
The curvature of the earth amounts to about 8cm per kilometer. Now Arvia is about 345m long which means that over its length the curvature of the earth amounts to about 3cm.
I wonder if that is what happened to Ventura's deck, somebody forgot to take that into account

When you do FaceTime on your phone or take a selfie the picture that you see is reversed as though you were looking in a mirror. Apparently this is because we are all used to seeing ourselves in a mirror. What the other person sees I don’t know.
