I didn't actually read them. As soon as I saw the word Spoiler I looked away. Maybe to avoid confusion you could use the words "random guess", or "fiction" or "another Keefie not starter tip?"

Best not to read them. In a two horse race
he came second.

I was taught to be cautious

Look on the bright side. You picked out the dance offers from the rest. Be positive
You just fell at the last hurdle

I'm just surprised Paul was in the dance off. He's a duff dancer but usually the footballer's fans keep them in for weeks despite their dance ability. Maybe he was a duff footballer too?

Re: Strictly Come Dancing 2024
Dam it, I could have got 7/2 about Tasha lifting the glitter ball…absolutely amazing!
I clearly didn’t see what the judges saw in Wynn’s dance…not impressed at all.
I wasn’t expecting that from Paul…he’ll be delighted not to be in the bottom two this week.
I thought the majority of dancers improved significantly this week but there are always donkeys amongst the thoroughbreds, with Wynn and Punam vying for the carrots.
So it's Hello Wynn goodbye Punam.

Just checked the odds and you can get 4/1 about Tasha with Chris trading at 4/5…. whilst Chris appears to have the viewers support, I can’t see him winning if he comes up against Tasha in the final, despite his admirable efforts and disability.
Viewers need to harden up a bit and follow my example
Off to the bookies tomorrow

Being wrong on this forum isn't something that I’m used to, but there are occasions when you have to put your hands up and say… UP YOUR'S David, thanks for mentioning it.david63 wrote: 13 Oct 2024, 21:53I see you got it wrong AGAIN Keefy![]()

I thought Paul Merson done well this week, but I think he maybe a one trick pony and his days are numbered.
Jamie Borthwick could be a dark horse and one to watch.

Re: Strictly Come Dancing 2024
Hi Stephen, agree on both counts. Paul did well to get over this hurdle but as the obstacles get bigger it won’t be long before he gets unseated.
Jamie, on the other hand has taken well to the fences and has improved with every run, his ability and unassuming nature will carry a good few bets for a couple more races...at least.
This has been said many times before but it is the case that personality is a big factor in who goes on to win strictly. Looking at the voting statistics a clever punter wouldn’t bet against Chris going all the way, and from what we have witnessed thus far it wouldn’t be undeserved… but I do think the show itself needs to be wary of allowing personality trends to continue as I think it undermines the essence of what this show is about. We have all witnessed some dancers getting knocked out because of voter personality preferences, but also complacency in not voting for their first choice believing their first choice will go through.
My view is that if strictly has a few more seasons left in it, it will need to change the format both in voting and production which in my opinion has got to a point where you might just as well be watching a pantomime.
On a more serious note, may I ask that all forum members vote for Tasha over the coming weeks as I’ve put the chicken’s food money on her…poor Betty and Doris are already looking on the thin side.

As much as I like Tasha she’s been dancing pretty safe dances so far. How she’ll fair with something more livelier we shall wait and see.

Yes’, I know where you are coming from…those beautiful long legs might look a bit awkward in some dances, my suggestion, when doing such dances, would be to disguise them with a short frilly skirt, stockings and suspendersStephen wrote: 15 Oct 2024, 08:01As much as I like Tasha she’s been dancing pretty safe dances so far. That may have also helped keep in Ann Widdecombe when she was on the show

I'm not sure if she may be one of those dancers that starts off good but does not improve as the weeks go on - only time will tell.Stephen wrote: 15 Oct 2024, 08:01As much as I like Tasha she’s been dancing pretty safe dances so far. If OL can supply the kit I'll help her put it on.
