I have to agree with Len - Mark should have gone. His dance with Yevetta was more of a lapdance than ballroom and it was inappropriate to be included. Young girls watch this programme and could get the wrong idea about dancing.

Also felt that showing Natalie collapsing and her distress was inappropriate as well.

I hope we are all voting for the best dancer now and not our favourites.

From a purely sexist male point of view - was anyone watching Mark or were they watching Yevetta in the outfit she was wearing?

Seriously though - do the outfits that either of the couple wear have any influence on the voting?

Smurfy

I doubt the real dance fans care what people wear ,but I bet some of the older men ,who insist they only watch it coz they have to, have a wistful look on there faces and wish they were 30 years younger.

dont know why they would ?as it would not make a jot of difference

The two in the dance off are both useless, but it was obvious that Dave did have the edge on this occasion.

I bet Len had a few words with the other judges afterwards.

It was hard not to watch Yevetta in 'that outfit' she looked stunning or I thought so, I remember Ola wearing something similar a few series ago and it had the same effect on all you men

I do think the outfits they wear influence you to a degree ( probably men more so than women ) look at poor old Ann Widdecombe they didn't dress her in anything flattering at all and I'm sure if they had she would have got a few more votes, the voters will overlook someone making mistakes if they look good, the judges won't but then they only have half of the vote, we can all be so fickle when it comes down to how good a person looks or how attractive they are :o

I don't think the outfits the women wear have much influence on the voting as I don't think it is men doing the voting. If other men are anything like my husband he would not dream of spending money phoning in for any t.v. Show, but in spite of his protests he doesn't seem to mind watching the very lovely ladies in their skimpy outfits !

Hi Jo

I could mention a couple of men on here who are into dresses but the less said about that the better...Stephen and Darknightie would kill me :sarcasm:

I agree with you, the outfits make a big difference to any given dance routine and do I believe influence the way we vote...some look graceful, some look sexy (in keeping for the dance they are performing) some look terrible. I would imagine a considerable amount of time goes into choosing the right dress for the right routine.

Keith

Still don't know what dance the Goldfinger duo were doing...I wasn't watching the actual dancing though, to be fair!

I dont know about Natalie, but otherwise I agree. Dave was better than Mark in the dance off, as for who we are voting for I do have a tendency to want to vote for someone if they have been under marked; as Ben Cohen and Sophie were this week. But since Rachel left we have decided not to vote again, because several of them are worthy winners, including Ashley, Susanna, Sophie, and Abby. I wouldn'y mind if any of those won because they are not trained dancers. I like Ashley's attitude.

Just read Romig as well, and Ivetta doesn't float my boat; too thin!

I just say what I see, I thought he was overmarked and especially I thought the lifts looked very laboured, and that Abby and Sophie were better. But hey what do I know, I'm just expressing an opinion.

Hi Frank,

Couldn’t agree more about Abbey, she even managed a smile!

Darcey must have turned a blind eye to the little mishap at the end of Patrick’s glittering performance, she probably realised even performers from Cirque de Soleil would have struggled to pull that dance move off.

If you do change your mind about voting...remember Onelife needs a new pair of trousers!!

Jo, not sure the BBC would have had enough funds to make Ann Widdecombe look good

I love watching Ben but although he has the best body he isn't the best dancer so I hope he stays in as eye candy until there are only the very good dancers left.

I think the best dancer will win and hopefully she will have recovered and be able to dance next week. ;) I liked Dave but I don't think I ever saw him do anything that even resembled dancing unlike Mark who actually did manage some dance steps a few weeks ago. This weeks effort by him wasn't really up to much.

Hey Stephen,

If you think Abbey’s accent is bad you should hear the Brummie accent.... now that’s bloody awful!!

And before you open your mouth.... I live on the posh side of Birmingham  :D

Oh Yes! If you haven’t removed your Avatar picture by tomorrow morning Onelife and Robbie aka (AOTH) are coming down on our sledge to put soggy Christmas cakes through your front door.

When you say you live on the posh side, does that mean the toilet is inside the house ;)

I've a nice jug of cold custard in the fridge to go with the soggy Christmas cake so bring plenty

That would depend on how desperate I was and who was watching...anyone got a tissue?

Ok then, what would you say if Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, were let lose all over your well manicured front lawn? Thought so....

You’ve got till tea time to change your Avatar or else

Have to agree with you, I think the judges are a bit star struck with Natalie, and I also agree about Ashley and Susanna.
