Some consolation for Brazil fans. They were infinitely better than England, 'Head and Shoulders' better!!!

Brazil? Better against Holland than Germany but their defence has more holes than a collander. They were lucky to play with 11 men for most of the match. The referee bottled a definite sending off.

I'm really looking forward to the start of the New Season, not because I'm a footie fan .. heaven forbidbarney wrote:Hi Foxy
Lady Jane constantly asks if she can come to football be me, but as of yet I've resisted.
I did say to her "what about the foul language?" and she said that they'll just have to put up with it.![]()
Seriously, though I relish my 'bloke time'
We meet in the same pub at the same time and talk the same rubbish, week in week out.
Then have a good old moan all the way home because we were cr*p (again)
Love it
Would I want to go with him ... nah - been there, done that, tried it once and never want to repeat it ... Boring !!!

Blood sweat and tears....but didn't you just know Germany would deliver the sucker punch.....great goal!
Great game by both teams but overall l think Germany deserved to lift the cup.

Meanwhile Holland go marching on (I do like Holland and their zany, colourful fans) and Germany just continue to be.................... German. I think those two are going to take some stopping".
Onelife, don't you just wish you had listened to Uncle Fox? I would happily have shared your winnings with me!!! I wish I'd put a few bob on them now.
It was a closely fought final but on the chances created Argentina should have won it. They had three clear cut chances and fluffed them. The German goal was sheer class and with an average age of 26 they are going to be a powerhouse for some time to come. Forget the Euros England!!!
