Whatever Meghan is supposed to have done, she doesn't deserve what that scumbag Jeremy Clarkson wrote about her in the Scum. Utterly vile.

The trouble is, some people are influenced by this vile garbage.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear Susanna Reid’s balanced view on the Kuenssbergs show this morning.

The World Cup final has come to life, it was all Argentine and suddenly the French are back in it. Anyone else watching?

Betty is well pleased as Doris arrived this morning, I wanted to call her Meghan but was overruled by the two girls, Doris is a Cumbrian Black Tail which is a little unfortunate because anything that comes out of Cumbria is bound to cause me problems

As long as she keeps popping the eggs out I ain’t bothered what she/he identifies as. If however she/he turns out to be the first hermaphrodite chicken then I’ll have hit the jackpot. :D

Well it seems the series is going down like a lead balloon with critics in the US. I can't see Netflix being a future income source.
Sorry to spoil your Christmas Sir Merv

What with Jeremy and Piers fighting your cause we could soon see an awakening in this country as well. :D

Ah yes, that well known impartial organ of the truth, the Guardian. If you ask enough people you will find enough to justify any viewpoint. My point remains that the majority of US critics aren't impressed.

As for Clarkson he's a prize prat. But that doesn't make Harry and Meghan angels.

'Whiny, woke and annoying ' are not exactly endearing terms to describe our wonderful Meghan. From what I have read US seems to be tiring of their whingeing and lies. It seems they are beginning to see them for what they are.

I wasn’t expecting those responses  :D …. I was thinking more along the lines that you would all embrace the Christmas spirt and wish Harry and Meghan a very happy Christmas seeing how badly you have misjudged them. :D

When the media have their claws into you and churn out a relentless stories against you, it must influence the way people see you no matter if they are true or more than likely twisted. How do you try to come from that, knowing everything you say or do will be met with more of the same.

Thankfully there are some who steer away from reading the Daily Mail, Sun, Mirror, Telegraph, which relentlessly churn out this spiteful garbage.

I think the best way Ray, is for them to shut up and stop making money by broadcasting tales which have little basis in reality or showcasing very personal and intimate details of themselves. Stop drawing attention to yourself, go away to lead a private life away from the glare of the media and eventually they will have very little to report.
Certainly you don't trash your family or the institution you were born into which has given you a very comfortable and privileged lifestyle.

I think in most situations where there is love in a relationship, and where one side of that relationship is being vilified by an out-of-control media it would take a very weak person not to stand up for the partner being hounded, so much so that in this case they felt they needed to start a new life in a different country due to the vindictiveness that they were subjected too which got way out of hand.

You seem to have a thing about the money they have made out of these press intrusions, which it has to be said wouldn’t have happened had it not been for the press using Meghan as a kicking post to sell these malicious stories, stories perpetrated by those who will use whatever means they can to remain on the pedestals of this outdated institution called the Monarchy.

So foxy we can differ in our perception of where the truth lies but I feel sure that I would be willing to put more money on Harry and Meghan’s version of the truth than what you would sticking with your version of them being liars.

Only bet what you are willing to loose Foxy ;) :)

But, according to last week's episodes, Harry was talking about moving abroad before Meghan was even on the scene.

So how else were they planning to finance their lifestyle? Again according to Harry it cost him most of his mother's inheritance to move out to California.

I would agree with that - when we actually know what the truth is. All we have been presented with so far is one side of the story with no substantiated evidence - just "sound bites"

That’s sort of my point David.
Somebody said this ?
Somebody did that ?
‘They’ want to destroy us ?

As they say in the States, where’s the beef ?

Vague accusations have no merit in my opinion.

I didn't know that David...his time in the Royal family must have been worse than I first thought :)

Harry and Meghan are doing another Netflix program due out on the 10th Jan so one must presume the previous Netflix series has opened up many more opportunities to make a living.

If we don’t know what the truth is then how can others on this forum not defend the innocence behind what is at best unsubstantiated garbage that the media have put out???

We’ve all seen one side of the story so they have every right to defend their side of the story, with or without Royal approval. Imo.
