Hi Alan,

Pleased to hear there were no unpleasant surprises today and that those of concern can be well managed... with a little tweaking.

I’ve got my own blood pressure monitor which I use on a regular basis, it also saves you having to wait for a blood pressure monitor to become available from your doctors surgery should you need to give 7 day readings to your doctor. 140/90 isn’t going to kill yeah but the lower figure is a little high.

Keep taking the pills Alan you’ll be fine.

Best wishes

Keith

Thanks, Keith. I will certainly keep taking the pills, washed down with a fine Merlot :sarcasm:

You know what you can do with your pants. I don't do camping, unlike yourself who 'minces' about nibbling on a celery stick gawping in every mirror you pass just because you lost half an ounce :relaxed:

Ooooooh! Get him sweetie!

I took a glimpse of my athletic frame in the mirror this morning Keith, and had to double take such was its masculine beauty! Eat your hearts out lardies, when Keith and I (other slimmers are available) stroll aboard (not together, you understand!) looking like adoni, you forum tubbies will eat your words instead of your pork pies!

HI Frank,

It’s amazing how much we have in common, what with our dashing good looks, pleasant personalities, brilliant sense of humour, not to mention our soon to be “more” well toned bodies... which I have to say is in complete contrast to one particular member on this forum who looks more like Neanderthal man... the only distinguishing difference is that he can often be seen prancing around in his Darknightie with his master Stephen giving him a good “belting” should he have not succumbed to his masters wishes.

Must dash I’ve got an appointment at the gym then off for a quick sauna

Regards

Keith

Excuse me while I wipe away the tears but I’ve just been made up to a FIRST OFFICER which as you know has been my life’s ambition. I can only presume this has come about because of my selfless dedication to making our forums members the healthiest/slimmest they’ve been for years. May I thank all who have made this dream possible and I promise not to abuse the power invested in me (Oh yes it has its perks)...Stephen any more decent from you and you’ll be getting your first warning not to mention a good belting... DK, it is unbecoming of a First Officer to use offensive terms such as lard ar*se, chubster, lettuce muncher, etc etc to one of equal rank...So pack it up “farty face” or I’ll get my new bestest mates David, Mob, OBF, Ken and Jenni to issue you with your fourth and final warning.

Regards

First Officer Onelife :D

Only P&O call their navigating staff officers. The correct term is Mates; hence 1st Mate, 2nd Mate and 3rd Mate. Dont let them kid you otherwise; the only people signing on as Officers were Radio Officers.

You can interpret 'Mates' whichever way you like.

Happy fitness regimes!

Well only two days to go before our weigh in....which is a shame as I now wish I’d made the weigh-in for tomorrow instead of Sunday as we’re off out to a steak restaurant tomorrow evening to celebrate my best mates 60th.

Dam and double Dam....I’ll just have to look at a picture of the DarkOne which should make me throw it all back up again :sarcasm:

Stay strong pinchers.

Yes I was thinking the same. I have been good all week except for the bottle of bubbly yesterday but tomorrow we are out at an Italian. I have perused the menu and I think I can have mixed sea food with a salad. Sounds yummy. I will need to find out how the sea food is cooked but it sounds like it will be better than the alternatives as far as fat and calories are concerned.

I will weigh in tomorrow morning as if I have lost the 3lbs I was hoping for it will give me the incentive to be good.

Remember fridge pickers wear bigger knickers. It's Friday and temptations are out there.

Sue

Yes come on Guys and Gals! Instead of steaks and Italian seafood, it needs to be a single celery stick and a glass of house water! Lets show Dark Nightie that instead of a large flannelette, he could be wearing baby dolls, if he followed our regime instead of pigging out!

I've had Ryvitas and cottage cheese 2 days running for my lunch. I'm going to pluck up the courage to weigh myself..........soon. Then I'll know how much I have to lose.

Hi emjay,

l can't tell you how proud l am of you...well done!!

Just to make your Ryvita lunch a little more intresting try sprinkling some cress on top it may not add much to the flavour but it looks more appetising. Some ham wiith a small amount of low fat colsaw makes a nice change.

l've been having porridge for breakfast most mornings which tends to keep me going till lunch time.

Evening meals are as what we would normaly have but smaller portions.

Don’t be too disapionted if you don't lose much at this weeks weigh-in.....you started later than most of us so l've decided award the wooden spoon to the Darkestone cus he likes sttirring it

Stck with it emjay

Regards

keith
