Re: Are you "middle aged" ?
I'm way past middle age. I counted 23 on the list. I changed from Radio 1 to Radio 2 when I was a young mother as I liked to listen to Jimmy Young and of course the recipe of the day. I have always loved my garden too. So I was already becoming middle aged when I was still young.

I see there is no mention of my favourite, Classic FM.

I know that Classic FM is very popular Frank - listen to it whenever we are driving - it's a shame more people don't get into it.

How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are? Some days I feel 21 others days 91!
To me - old age is always ten years older than I am - so I'll never grow old - I wish
Every year on your birthday you get a chance to start anew - does this mean you go back to childhood - the way some people act they've never left it.

I have a Classic FM edition of the retro-look Roberts Radio which has a "hard-wired" button to take you straight to aforementioned station but, other than to test if it worked, I have never used it. We bought the radio because the colour of its leatherette suited our colour scheme in the kitchen
In September we are on the Oriana cruise to Venice which has a Classic FM theme but, like the last Classical Festival Music at Sea cruise we went on, we never went to a concert. We chose both cruises because of itinerary, length, date and ship.

Less than half way there going by my answers to the questions, but a lot closer in real-time.
Must admit, went on Oriana this year and we weren't the youngest passengers on board. Several younger passengers in fact.
Must go to the charity shop for a Zimmer frame this afternoon.

Middle age is when you have to write everything down on notelets or you forget to do something. And yes, I do it all the time
And old age is when you can't remember writing it down or you haven't a clue where you put the notelet.

As they say:
Old age is when a broad mind and a narrow waist change places.

Re: Are you "middle aged" ?
ho ho aged one
we are far to young to spend our time on a coffin dodgers cruise round the place, so we have decided to book more age appropriate hols and leave the Horlicks and blanket brigade to clutter up the high seas whilst we go off and do stuff, rather than sit and watch it float by

Now I am certain; I am definitely ancient, and rickety. A bit like a nice looking Morris Minor with underlying rust, and rattley big ends! 18 holes of golf with my 8 & 3/4 year old grandson, after all the work on the house, and the tree lopping etc of the past week, and I am totally shot tonight.
Lovely lunch at Splinters in Christchurch with the little fellow though. He put away 3 courses including Belly Pork with Lambs Liver, and a large cheesecake, so the golf had worked up an appetite for him. I on the other hand had smoked salmon and prawn risotto, and vanilla panna cotta, and then had to have a snooze in the recliner in the conservatory.
