No snow since Fri, they say snow today but its 3 o'clock and not snow

We haven't had any more snow since late on Friday but there is an old saying that if the snow stays on the ground there is more to come and the sky looks pretty ominous right now.

Still nothing here thank goodness. Did see some earlier when we went to east Lancashire. Lots on the hills but the motorway was clear.

I was up eary yesterday to take Miss AOTH into Hull for her skating lesson. I stop off at a newsagents to pick up a paper and usually have a few words with the old lady who serves in there. She came out with a pearl of wisdom yesterday "bl**dy snow should stay on bl**dy Christmas cards". I am inclined to agree.
One day P&O will cruise out of the north.....
