bags are taken from the ship to the airport with thomson
so you just need hand luggage
a leisurely breakfast, read the paper and then off to the airport

True David but we have very little in the way of hand luggage and there has always been hours to get to the airport. So far the luggage has arrived in the UK at the same time as us so no problems encountered.

We've not been on board for the so-called 'silent' disembarkation (yet), and only ever had one problem with the coloured card system. and that was because for myself, wife and two boys we were given three different colours! Sorted at Reception, though.
that was on Oceana, BTW.

Or as on my next flight home from Corfu maybe take in a half day excursion of the island, relax in the afternoon and leave at tea time for my evening flight.Dark Knight wrote:bags are taken from the ship to the airport with thomson

Silent disembarkation went well on Oceana. I had a time of 8.35 in the theatre but I threw away the piece of paper that i should have had with me. Never mind, i arrived in the theatre at 8.40, never even sat down and was straight out to the disembarkation. they did not ask for the paper and i even kept my cruise card. Caught a taxi and was at the station by ten past nine.

It would have been even earlier if we hadn't wasted 15 minutes looking for some of our cases which had been put in the wrong place.
