Re: Goodbye
What can I say, probably nothing that comes even close to how you must both be feeling.
But be strong for each other, Ray, and try to believe in miracles - they can happen.

Re: Goodbye
Ray, for me this is all too close to home.
No one, unless they are experiencing it themselves, can understand the sheer loneliness fear and frustration which manifests itself when coping with this.
However, please take note of all that has been said by those on this forum in reply to your post on the 18th. Every one of these members and their posts should indicate to you the strength of this sometimes unseen community, which feels the pain and pleasure of others equally.
Please, please do not sign off. As I said a few months ago, when my CLL relapsed again and this time proliferations started to appear in the orbits of my eyes, I was confined to darkness for weeks on end. Having my dear lady and daughter regularly read through the forum and convey the humour and banter was enough to keep me in touch with what was being debated within the cruise world. This gave me some great interludes.
To all the members, please keep the debates going. What to you may appear frivolous; what to you may appear to be insensitive or close to the bone; what to you may appear to be rude or off subject, may just be that simple post which gives someone a little smile of remembrance that can take away a horrible moment.
Ray, hang on in there as we all eventually have to.
