Do they do a "two-centre" holiday combining Vienna and Ulan Bator ?

I'm not sure Mongolia is a particularly favourite cruise destination !
I would say it is only second to those wonderful cruise destinations of Switzerland and Austria
Vienna is one of the top river cruise destinations in Europe........just saying.
Yes, I should have maybe thought that attempt at a witticism through a bit better :)

Just received another cheque in the post this morning re: damage to my case on our last-but-one holiday.
Now I just have to wait for the cheque from our holiday at the start of the moth.

I didn't had this problem prior to 2016, what is going on? Do the baggage handlers just not care any more?

As we have our long 65 night cruise next January I'm beginning to think about luggage. At the moment we have three Tripp, soft 2 wheel cases, small, medium and large which are good as they fit into each other. They are bright blue but on our last cruise there were several people with the same colour which resulted in John searching for luggage in the baggage hall at Southampton and bringing me the large and medium cases - only problem, neither of them was ours! Hastily took them back where he'd found them. We also have a very old largish soft suitcase which has two wheels but no extending handle so you pull it along with the ordinary suitcase handle. Although we've had it for years it's a good size in that it's not as deep as the modern ones but it's a great size for packing Dinner suit and formal wear.
So I've started looking and thinking that if I get another set of three cases that fit inside each other it will save space and hopefully both sets will fit under the bed. I've been to Debenhams site which is where I bought the other Tripp cases, looked at 2 wheel and 4 wheel soft cases. I've not really considered hard shell as the only time we had one it arrived with a huge dent in one corner. The soft ones have withstood several fly cruises as well as those from Southampton. On the Debenhams site it seems that the majority of large size cases are sold out so I went to look at Tripp's own site - prices very similar to Debenhams. Now there is one set of cases that are in stock in all three sizes - 2 wheel. They are the bright blue with large daisies on! Now I'm sure they would be easy to find in the baggage hall at Southampton (assuming no-one else had the same ones but as they seem to be one of the few colour ranges that have the large case still available I'm assuming they aren't that popular). My next thought is what will John think if I get three cases with large daisies on them - no I haven't asked him. If I do the first thing he'll say is - We don't need any more suitcases - well we do. I can't do 65 nights with one small, one medium, one large and our old case. Not sure what he'll say about daisies - what do others think?
I haven't looked at the IT range but will now go off and do so, also the Antler range. I don't really want to buy expensive luggage but obviously I do need it to be substantial. As we've never had a problem with the Tripp soft shell cases I'm reluctant to spend more. I have also seen the Tripp bright pink luggage straps which might be a good idea to make identifying the cases even easier. Anyway any thoughts welcome.

The risk for you is that others ' could ' buy the same or similar so think outside the box ( case ) perhaps.

We have antler cases, two x 26" and 2 x 20", they are all blue and fit inside each other. We also have a couple of trolley bags plus holdalls various.

Those that go into the hold at an airport and/or a cruise terminal are identified thus ...

* A 1" wide red and black named strap, locked, is fixed towards the top of the case.

" A Motorway vehicle styled black and vivid yellow 2" TSA(?) locking strap that runs under the handle.

* A sailing ship that Mobietta painted on them using nail varnish(es).

So ...

If you see them tell John to bloody well leave them alone
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

Why is it once you get into that vast hangar where all the suitcases are parked they all look the same, irrespective of colour, no matter what you tie to the handles. Have just got back off Arcadia (thanks for the updates on football, Mob!!) and it's a right bunfight in there.
My next job is to spray paint my initials in BIG letters on my cases and we'll see if that works any better.
Had a great cruise. Long report coming up when I have downloaded it!!
I was taught to be cautious

You need to go on Adonia - seemed like there were only about 6 cases per deck in the baggage area !

I have just bought an additional suitcase today. Bought a hard case from Tripp in Debenhams. Much reduced in price.
Got a medium as I cannot manage to lift anything much larger.
Will be very useful for the 17 nights in October.
It's bright pink !!

Thought I would mention that if you actually go into Debenhams they often have managers specials on cases. They come in sets and most buy just one or two so they often have spares for sale. I have good quality luggage but was looking for an additional medium case for a longer cruise, more dresses !! !! and didn't' mind if it was different and cheaper than my others. On the website it was down to £49 and in store the special price was £36.
