I would be saying exactly the same as your wife. If it was me, I'd want an implant asap, but I show my top teeth when I smile, so it'd be quite noticeable. As Jan said, I'd hate having the gap. My husband doesn't show his teeth as much as me, so I would say to him wait and see how you feel! (although, to be fair, he doesn't seem that bothered about having an implant)Onelife wrote: 23 Jan 2019, 22:59Hi Jan..As you may have gathered, once my broken tooth is removed l will be left with a minus two tooth gap...thankfully not my two front teeth but the two next to them. You don't notice the gap when in normal conversation so l'm not too concerned at the moment.
l was discussing the predicament with my wife this aftetnoon and she said if it was her she would definitely have implants, but said l should wait and see how l feel..."in a few years time"lol
From what l have been reading it's not a quick fix and can take many months before you get your new nashers installed ....may l ask how long your procedure took to get sorted?
Kind regards
Keefy
Unfortunately, the whole tooth broke off, it's just the root that's left, so there's nothing left to crownOnelife wrote: 23 Jan 2019, 23:17
Hi Gill.....l'm sure this will have already been discussed with your husbands dentist but just in case......could the tooth be pinned then have a crown fitted?
I had one done 10 years ago and it is still in place. I suppose it depends on how much tooth has broken away.

Keith
