This thread has been a revelation to me.

In the past, I have posted a few pics using Photobucket, but I don't really like Photobucket and I've never bothered to find an alternative hosting service.

Now I can post pics again

You tell him David, he's getting very grumpy which is odd as Watford will avoid relegation if the PFL ends now.

You choose a pic and then Copy it to another file.

( You do this so that you don't resize the original )

Q1) Are you on a PC

Q2) Can you right click on the copy, choose ' Edit ' then Select ' Paint '?

If you type "Free Picture Resizer" into Google it will give you several options. The one I use asks you to open the picture you want to resize and then you just go to Resize, enter the size you want (400x400 or as close as you can get) and job done. "Save as" if you don't want to change the original. I save mine to desktop and then delete it once I have used it.

There are different ways of doing these things and mine may not be the best but starting with the basics, if that's ok ....

I assume that you are using a PC with Windows 10, if yes you should have a File Explorer Tab on the Task Bar ( bottom line )

Click on it and select Pictures, this is where your pics are best stored.

Are we in tandem so far ?

Yes, but I seem to be doing all the peddling at the back, while you're steering in the wrong direction.

Brill ....

I am also assuming that your holiday pics are in seperate folders, one for each cruise perhaps ?

If yes then right click in a space within the My Pictures display of hols folders various ... then click new / then folder.

You will get a new folder appear called ... well, new folder, it will be highlighted.

Type Allatc as the new name for the new folder and let me know when you have done all that.

Soon be there ;)

Open a folder with your cruising pics in and select one ... then right click on it then select copy

Now open your new and sparkling ' Allatc ' folder and anywhere in the space do a right click then paste.

( If your new folder had been called ' new folder ' you could right click on it and select rename )

So .... I will trust all is well and you now have a pic in the ' Allatc ' folder ......

Right click on it and select edit

Q) Are you looking at a display of your pic entitled ' Happydays ' (ish) - Paint ?
