Kenko Rich and a kettle for us with the occasional filtered coffee.
Out of interest how many of you boil the kettle for your coffee. Mrs S gets annoyed if I boil the kettle for her coffee as she said it spoils the flavour.

Re: Coffee, anyone?
I was told not to use boiling water on grounds or on instant, something to do with volatile compounds being driven off. I drink the stuff black so the slightly cooler coffee wasn’t a problem.
On a slightly different note, we were in a bar (that maybe took itself a bit too seriously) in Edinburgh centre last weekend. I ordered a whisky & Mrs R had a cocktail (Inland voyage?). The waiter asked how I took my whisky and I replied with a touch of water. The whisky duly arrived along with an eye dropper and phial of water…I hadn’t intended to drown the whisky but clearly they were taking no chances!

I thought Breville was one of those cheapo brands that are made by dodgy Chinese plants, that spend more on packaging than they do product.Manoverboard wrote: 26 Feb 2023, 16:00Sage machines are made by Breville ... just saying in case there is a price advantage![]()

The machines are multi purpose. We use ours for cleaning windows as well as toasting sandwiches.
