Re: Strictly 2021
On tonight's performances it would be close and would come down, as ever, to public popularity.
I was taught to be cautious

I’ll be hoping its Rose because the thought of Stephen crying for a week pleases me immenselydavid63 wrote: 11 Dec 2021, 21:55But just suppose that the dance off is between AJ and Rose - who would go?

Rhys to go. AJ or Rose to win on merit but a political pink vote could change things.

In a poll on another site out of 60k votes Rose got 71% compared to AJ with 16%, John with 11% and Rhys with 2% - seems a foregone conclusion to me as to who will win

Rose is 1/5 on to win with the bookies, however I personally don’t think the odds reflect how little there is between Rose and AJ in their dancing ability.david63 wrote: 12 Dec 2021, 09:42In a poll on another site out of 60k votes Rose got 71% compared to AJ with 16%, John with 11% and Rhys with 2% - seems a foregone conclusion to me as to who will win

I don't know why all four judges made such a fuss to say how close the dance off was. In our view John was streets ahead. Politically tricky decision though. Vote off the black guy or the gay guy!

With all my year as principal dancer for the Bolshoi Ballet company I would have to disagree with you. Compared to Johns Disco dancing, Rhy’s was well on top of the game…. rest assured I’ll be having a word with the Judges.Mervyn and Trish wrote: 13 Dec 2021, 09:57I don't know why all four judges made such a fuss to say how close the dance off was. I agree with you Keefie, I thought John's dance was very disjointed and lacking in musicality Rhys was IMHO much better.Onelife wrote: 13 Dec 2021, 10:17With all my year as principal dancer for the Bolshoi Ballet company I would have to disagree with you. They’d better give Keith a quick call to see if he can fill the gap with his juggling roof tile act

That's a real shame. Big hole to fill in the show. They could just do two of them and waffle a bit and show AJ's best bits to fill - maybe even the first rendition of the two dances she was going to do again. They could bring Rhys back as the last one eliminated. They could led it run short and show a repeat of Morecambe and Wise.

Of course another option would be to show her two old performances and still let people vote for her. Controversial eh?

He's said that he is not coming back, and in fairness he would not have had time to train for the final.
Also why would he come back knowing full well that he would not win?

So who is left in the final Rose and partner and the two blokes. I wonder who will win?
