Re: Football 22/23
Football hit another low on Saturday after board members were told to stay away from Goodison Park over their personal safety. Some fans seem to believe their club have a God given rite to be in the Premier League when the truth is their team by being at the wrong end means they are not good enough.
Demonstrations are the fans way to show that they are not happy. Violence of any description should not be tolerated by the genuine supporter. True football fans follow their clubs hoping for success, but know when things go bad it's down to the fans to still support the club but at the same time try to influence for things to change.
It's always been the same, the ups and downs . Big clubs seem to have forgotten that it's not always the trophies or leagues you win (nice as it is) but the ability to take on the hard times when they come. Money has soured the beautiful game.

With Everton it was a policy to buy names at inflated prices rather than developing talent.
On that note our first goal vs Blackpool was scored by a 17 year old Academy player

Times are a’changing at Priestfield.
New owners
New players
New attitude
We actually attacked for 90 minutes rather than sitting deep and hoping that something would happen.
More new incomings this week

Yeah, can’t complain about the goal, great free kick.
Only a win for Bensham.!
United got really sloppy with the passing second half, allowed Palace into the game, the took it well.

Brilliant free kick. My head hit the roof of the stand when it went in. We played a lot better last night than we have been. United's man of the match must be De Gea.

Now the charges against Mason Greenwood have been dropped, does he still have a future at Man Utd.?

I wonder if he has continued to be paid by United, and whether Mendy has also continued to be paid by City?screwy wrote: 02 Feb 2023, 16:42Now the charges against Mason Greenwood have been dropped, does he still have a future at Man Utd.?

Moby, what should we expect from Hungbo, on loan from you although I think he was at Ross County on loan and scored 7 goals from 33 appearances.. He is in our starting line up today on the right wing.

Tremendous game at Villa Park today full of end to end drama. It could have gone either way. Fortunately it went the right way.

Bizarrely, we have taken ten points from the last twelve and are still in the relegation zone ??

Re: Football 22/23
For us he was mainly a winger, fast and nippy but injury prone. Couldn't get into our team because he was competing with Sarr. He needs minutes but seems genuinely enthusiastic.towny44 wrote: 04 Feb 2023, 14:45Moby, what should we expect from Hungbo, on loan from you although I think he was at Ross County on loan and scored 7 goals from 33 appearances.. Will Manchester City get kicked out of the PL. Will be interesting to see how it pans out, there is a lot of money resting on the decision.
