I'll fix you up with a season ticket in the Tower.......cleaning latrines from below.
I was trying to save my 10,000 post for someone of a more sympathetic nature but in the absence of any credible candidates I suppose you’ll have to do.

I'm just worried how Ray knows that?
I just can not believe the insinuations, I was actually referring to the art of chopping logs for his woodburner and thinking he would have a big axe. Honestly, you lot are unbelievable.😂

You're too kind OL.

But I think the jury's still out Ray. Stephen certainly didn't offer to show me his chopper when we met. So you're ahead there.

Think yourself lucky Sir Merv, I haven’t been the same since I had the misfortune to bump into Stephen wielding his chopper.

What do you mean ‘misfortune’. You were all over me like a rash. Mrs S didn’t know where o look. And my flabber had never been so gasted.

You would have been better off sticking with that old Royal adage… “never complain, never explain” and saved us both the embarrassment. :shh:

That's the problem with wanting the truth to come out, if it's not your truth you can get upset.

No doubt OL will be including "his truth " in the book he is writing. Hazza will be passing on his tricks of the trade. Why tell the truth when a pack of lies will make you a fortune from gullible Americans......and OL.

Sun headline today
Mummy why does he get three sausages and I only get two.
When is it going to end? Just as you think it's all starting to die down, anothers explosive headline pops up.

Does Harry not realise how pathetic this all sounds? I have two daughters more or less with the same age difference and when serving meals the elder always had a bigger portion. I don't believe that my younger daughter's life has been affected by this difference. Isn't there anyone who can convince Harry that he needs help. He's not going to feel any better by hurling all these perceived injustices at his family. I'm still not sure what he wants - he says he needs an apology from his family - for what exactly? Does he want someone to apologise that he wasn't the first born because that's what it sounds like.

I'm hoping now that OL has been promoted to the officer ranks he'll be showing more respect to his Commander in Chief.

The tabloids stories to which all of us use to get our information are suggesting that there is no convincing evidence to back up Harry’s claims…well sorry, evidence, no matter how true or false can only be contested if the other party make a counter claim as to the authenticity of the accusations…. they haven’t, they won’t… because the truth hurts.

Having read most of the “Spare” book I am totally convinced that there is much truth in what Harry has said about what's behind the barricades which protect this unaccountable secretive institution

If I was advising the culprits, I would be advising them to make an apology in order that this sad episode can move to its conclusion, failure to do so, will I believe, result in Harry bringing this archaic institution down….and not before time, imo.

Your shift in tack has been noted…last week you were gloating about poor book sale this week you are criticizing the American readership for not going along with the UK tabloids in purchasing the fastest selling no fiction book of all time.

Me and you need to get together to discus this further

I hope Foxy has more self restraint that I have, because I would find it very difficult not to smack you if you persisted in your warped attitude to the monarchy and support for that sorry excuse for a Royal Prince, during such a discussion.

How utterly demoralizing it must be for the genuine hard working metropolitan police officers doing their best to make a safer world for the public, only to hear that another police officer has brought disgrace on the force, this time as a serial rapist. The force has always had a bad reputation, but the severity of crimes recently does make it extremely hard for the public all over the country to have confidence in their police force.

A very threatening statement John for which you have no grounds to make other than to express you own personal opinion on what you believe to be true…. please allow me the curtesy to do the same without having to hear personal threats cast in my direction.

May I remind you that this is a current affairs thread which allows for different opinions.

Now I think from his posts on other topics that OL is a pretty decent bloke whom I would be more than happy to share a drink with on a cruise (his round of course). And I respect his right to be opposed to the Monarchy, which he shares with a good few others.

I also understand his delight that M&H are rocking that boat.

However i didn't approve of his language in respect of members of the Royal Family, and indicated so at the time.

I also, and here I could be wrong and stand to be corrected, believe him to be an intelligent bloke (no sniggering at the back please).

I therefore don't think he is really taken in by the tripe that Harry is spouting.and can see as the rest of us the glaring holes in the story they tell, the disproven 'mis-remembering' (Harry's own word) as well as the rest of us. But it suits his republican campaign to wind up those of us who would not describe the Monarchy as archaic, rather a splendid ceremonial tradition.

Of course I could be wrong. He could be a total plonker. But I don't think so.

I haven’t as yet caught up on this story Ray but it does turn your stomach on hearing such stories…The tragic case of Sarah Everard is never far from my thoughts and this kind of revelation sadly brings it to the fore again.
