I agree with Towny, I think it will be Chris to win, no question. The public seem to have decided he will win. Maybe it should be labelled a competition to see who can improve the most from being a complete novice, in which case either Chris or Pete would probably qualify for that. It's not anymore a competition for the best dancer, which I think in the early days it was, although I wonder what would have happened if John Sergeant hadn't stepped down as he was kept in far longer than he should have been because he was so popular with the public.

Did anyone else pick up on what Anton said about it being Pete's last dance in the competition? He quickly tried to cover it up but it does make you wonder what actually is going on.
I think it was just a slip. There's zero chance of fixing the Strictly results. Too many people in the production team who could leak any trickery to the press for a quick buck.
Are you implying that many BBC are open to bribery? :o

Just caught up with last night’s show and spoiler…what a joke this competition is turning out to be…

Sarah…I thought the dark lighting and her dress choice didn’t enhance her performance.

Pete…The judges said his top line was good, funny that, I thought rigor mortis had set in.

Tasha… Like Sarah, I didn’t think her dress choices did her dances any favours, despite being the best dancer on the night.

Chris… could dance with a blind guide dog and still get through.

JB…the lad has done well.

Next year I’ll be placing my tenner on someone entering with Tourette’s or similar.

At least common sense prevailed last night - not that Pete stood a chance against Tasha unless she fell.

I will do one of OL's predictions for next week. Tasha will be eliminated before the showdance and Chris will win the glitterball.

And since they won't tell us who was 2nd, we will never know who really was the best dancer.

If that happens then the show is a total farce.
No disrespect to Chris, but if it came down to Chris and Tasha making the final two then it’s like putting Darcey Bussell against the Hunchback of Notre Dame. No competition

That’s the way I see things Stephen…it has become a bit of a farce what with the judges spending more time cross-dressing and the contestants looking as if they’re auditioning for a place on the rocky horror show nearly every other week…what’s wrong with just having a dancing competition based on dancing ability… without the disability elements? The way the program is going I wouldn’t be surprised if they wheel someone out in a wheelchair next year.

It amazes me how kind and considerate I can be sometimes

We still love the show, and it is still the biggest programme on any channel during the week. For those less keen other channels are available and there is no penalty for not watching.

But to predictions I agree with David. The final is entirely down to audience votes. They've not taken to Tasha because of inaccurate social media chatter about previous dance experience. So although she should win and will get my vote she won't. It's tight between the other three but Chris will win on personality and humour.

What baffles me is, why invite tv personalities ( I hate the word celebrity) onto the show who allegedly have had previous dance experience. I would like to think the BBC would do some background checks before accepting them into the show.

And there’s no penalty for having an opinion about what could be done better…and fairer for the best dancers.

No penalty whatever. But if it's pulling the audience it is they ain't gonna change it.

I wonder if next year they are likely to have a Trans celebrity on the show, they must be next on the list of diversity options.

There’s already enough of that kind of crap clogging up the air time without promoting it any further.

They've already got a drag queen in the Christmas edition. Not to my taste sadly.

They have Billy the racing driver in the Christmas special. He has no legs. Well only artificial ones. So they're ahead of you!

Maybe they'll have a white, middle class, heterosexual, able bodied bloke on next. No come to think of it, that would be ridiculous.

How about somebody in a wheelchair? That could kill two birds with one stone - somebody with one, or no, legs and adding a new dimension of wheelchair dancing showing that Strictly is "all inclusive"

there were some in the results show last week.

2 blokes and 4 ladies - so one lady lifted another!

If you fancy a bet here are the current odds for tomorrows final…in racing terms it’s what’s known as a walkover

Chris McCausland 1/12

JB Gill 20/1

Sarah Hadland 45/1

Tasha Ghouri 66/1

For once I think OL is spot on. All Chris has to do is turn up. But any one of them would be a worthy winner.

The fact that Chris couldn’t see how well the other three finalists danced makes him a worthy winner. You can take anything away from Chris and Dianne what they have achieved is incredible.

I agree with Jan, Tasha’s show dance was beautiful…in fact I think it was the best dance I have ever witnessed on Strictly.

As for my £tenner…. I’ve backed a good few which have fallen at the final fence, but it was nice to see the other three finalists dead heated for second place and not placed 2nd 3rd and 4th. Because as Sir Merv has said “they would all have been worthy winners”.
