And the government are trying to make prison officers work to 68 before claiming their csp. Are they seriously asking 68 yr olds to roll round the floor with cons, Yes.

Catherine Princess of Wales diagnosed with cancer.

What a brave lady to make the announcement just now.

I wish her well in her recovery.

So will the media now lay off her? Hopefully she will make a full recovery.

Unlikely until they demand to know what cancer it is and what the prognosis is.

Anyway it should put an end to the divorce and other rumours that some believe - although there will be some who will believe that this is just another smokescreen.

Cancer is the most evil disease ever.

I've already seen a Facebook claim that both this and Charles's cancer are covers for something William has been up to.

God bless her and all the family, now please let the media and all the theorists leave her to rest and recover and respect their privacy.

Regardless of her status and whether you're a royalist or not, she is a young mother with the most devastating news to deal with, she doesn't need the additional crap.

Get well soon Catherine.

I wish Catherine the very best in her recovery. No doubt most of us know of someone with cancer or like me a loved one , it can be a difficult time .
The Royal family have had a very stressful few years of late , not helped by the detritus constantly spewing from some slime bag reporters and keyboard warriors.
Time to give them some space.

Really sad news to hear about Catherine, especially as she, along with Ann are the only working Royals I like.

I was surprised to hear that Willie is stepping back from his Royal duties, especially so as it has been reported he only worked a three-day week prior Catherine's sad news.

And yes! We’ll all be hoping the press give Catherine more breathing space, more, hopefully than what they gave Meghan when she was struggling with her medical condition.

Industrial accidents have reduced, but it is always sad that a worker loses a life at work. Engineers on ships face working with high pressure steam, high voltage electrical equipment, heavy objects and dangerous gasses all in confined spaces. While no doubt injuries do happen ,deaths are very rare.
My thoughts go to the families of the men who sadly lost their lives, and thanks to all the 'hidden ' crew who keep the ships working for us to enjoy. The people we never really much think about as they make our holidays fun and enjoyable.

Thank you, Ray  …I’ve had my head down working on some new recipes for a friends new cook book that she hopes will be another best seller…just like her husbands latest book. :)

She needs all the help she can get as poverty beckons. But welcome back now you've done your good deed. Are you sending lovely Kate choccies, or has she suffered enough?

No choccies Sir Merv, but I have sent her some words of wisdom e.g. “Don’t sacrifice happiness for Duty”

Lovely Meghan made the break and so can she.

Ironic isn't it that 24 hours on Sky News are running her statement, including asking for privacy while she and her young family deal with this, and then cutting to their reporter live outside Windsor Castle dissecting the statement and speculating! Idiots.

The same was happening on BBC. They were going through her statement virtually word by word looking for some significance. For goodness sake leave her to recuperate and get better.

At the same time a shooting took place in Moscow where I think they were saying about 100 theatre goers were gunned down in an alleged Islamic State atrocity.
Terrible.

Putin is already trying to blame it on Ukraine and he did not listen to the warnings from the Americans.

But he has already arrested the "suspects". There'll no doubt be a nice show trial pretty soon at which they will be found guilty.

There was of course a theatre full of people bombed earlier in the war. In Ukraine if I recall. I wonder who did that?

One has to accept that the Media and Monarchy feed off each other, therefore one shouldn’t be surprised when an institution that is steeped in secrecy is used by the media to create fictious, or otherwise, stories that keeps public speculation going.

I think most of us will have at some point speculated as to Kate’s wellbeing?
