Depends if you are a glass half empty or glass half full kind of person.

Quite an unusual stat though. Well done to whoever found that one. I hope the Gills beat the drop.

We could do a lot worse but he deserves a Prem team ... Fulham rather than Liverpool though.

He's a good manager but never had any money at Burnley and then they sold Woods to Newcastle. It's a pity he has been fired for what he has been forced to try and manage.
Mind you, having said that I wonder how much he will be getting as a consequence of losing his job? I never feel too sorry for them.

Whatever he gets will have to last him and his family for the rest of his life ... unless he gets another job

I doubt that will be too much of a problem. I can see him picking up a new job before not too long, likely a Championship team with aspirations.

Just back in from Cheltenham.
Cracking atmosphere from 800 Gills.
Half decent result but really and once again, should have won.
Once again hit the woodwork twice.
Roll on Monday.

I'ml in the local kebab shop. Went to Eastleigh with my Bromley mates. A really good game of football and a cracking atmosphere. Just like watching the Palace.

Oh dear, looks Palace might be the Bridesmaids again.

Bensham will have had a great view of that.

Never mind, we tried. 1st half we stiffled Chelsea and stopped them playing. 2nd half much the same but they took their chances we didn't.

I was disappointed for about 5 minutes then all I felt was pride. Crystal Palace this wonderful football club played at Wembley (again). We lost this time but we did our best. We try again next season.

Our fans were simply awesome, were there any Chelsea fans there?

I'm doing this at London Bridge waiting for a train, should be home in about a hour.

Must say Vieira's done an excellent job at Palace. There are some exciting prospects there. On the day Chelsea were just too strong for you.

They did you proud Bensham, but the Chelsea players are a bit more skilful than Palace, and why does Wilf end up on the ground so often, maybe his boots are too big?

Wilf is on the floor a lot because he gets fouled a lot. He never has been a diver despite what some people think. That Chelsea bloke who got booked for diving, now that's a diver. You've never seen Wilf do that.

Wilf, on his day can be a match winner, accept when Man United got their hands on him and tried to ruin him.

Maybe Wilf should have kept his tool out of Moyes daughter,he might have gotten a few more games.! Allegedly.
But it’s no problem, with the managers Utd have had since SAF , they can turn gold to dust.! Be interesting to see what ETH can do over the next couple of years.

For many years United has been the death knell for a lot of decent players as they mop up any talent going only for them to rot on the subs bench.

When we played Palace Wilf was no problem for falling over. He is a sulky character when things don't go his way. Worse than him was Ayew who threw himself to the ground at every opportunity even worse than Maddison.

Wilf does not fall over, he gets fouled a lot.
Of course Palace players are the only ones to do that. Nobody else ever dives to try and con the referee. Wilf does get a bit upset when things don't go his way that's because he wants to win. I'd rather that than do what MU players used to do surround the ref, intimating him to change his mind. Ince and Keane were the worst, possitively discussing behaviour, how they stayed on the pitch I don't know. They should have been sent off every time they did that that. Even Ferguson used to do it with his Fergie time but of course it was Manchester United so they were allowed to get away with it.

Any way I forgot to say yesterday;

Bloody Chelsea.

I dont think Wilf dives anymore than most forwards, but equally on the evidence of his SF performance there seemed few real fouls that saw him end up on the ground, nevertheless he did spend far more time sat on his a**e than the rest of both teams put together.

Anyone would think Utd were the only players to surround the ref.Palace did quite a lot of it yesterday. As for fergie. How can you criticise the countries greatest ,most successful manager.? Sure he had his faults and at least because of ‘Fergie’ time you now know how long extra time there is.

Interested to know foxy who all this talent was that rotted on the bench.?

0-0 full time
Opportunity lost I’d say.
Bizarre sending offs.
Two players attempting to win a midfield ball. Full blooded collision.
Both sent off ???
I didn’t even see it as a foul by either player.
I’d reckon both will appeal.
