Did I mention you when I said most on here vote Tory?

Yet another incorrect fact that you quote.

John
whatever, this is a silly post started IN MY OPINION, to see if you could get a rise out of the forum, nothing more and as I said it my opinion to which I am entitled
and using the "most" argument to backtrack, is weak and a blatant climb down

okay, john, if you want a rant and row, do it by pm not on the open forum, that way you can be open and honest and not twist your posts when you are shown to be a very silly man
if you wish to pm me then do, what rant?

Again incorrect

Not an assumption - I remember a thread a while back about Baroness Thatcher and it became apparent, very quickly, that the majority of respondents in their comments to that thread - were Conservative. Other, wrong, assumptions are being made and offence is being taken where none exists ......

There was much I was grateful to Margaret Thatcher for. There were also plenty of issues I disagreed with her about. That does not make me a Conservative. Going back to the original post how does John know 'most of this board are Tories'?

Can't answer for John OBF, but I think it is fair to say that judging by the responses to the Margaret Thatcher thread, people would believe that the respondents were of that political persuasion. I think believing many people to be Tory is borne out by other remarks made in other threads and topics over the past few months.

I think that's the problem when people make assumptions, they are often left barking up the wrong tree.
Especially in regards to posters and posts on forums, and even more so when politics are involved. ;)

I think that someone spouting about sending people back to their own country is a serious matter. Oh, by the way, my daughter in law is African and lives here with my son and their two children. To think that some people would send HER back to Africa is unthinkable. So, yes, it is a serious subject.
