.Just looking at those photos reminds me of the things I got up to…. Climbing 30-foot conker trees “before breakfast” and walking the ridge of railway bridges were rights of passage for us kids...happy days!.

I bought my first pair of leather footy boots from the Co-op, the special offer salesman was one Sir Slanley Matthews
