Re: Apologies
I am still getting loads of error messages, but if I persevere, I can usually get where I want in the end.

Re: Apologies
Very cranky today.. I have to "persevere" about 6 times, and I can only get in through Google. I am using a MacBook, does that cause more problems do you think. After I get in, it balks at moving through the threads. Jay

I too am having issues, virtually impossible to look at - just going to be patient and wait for David to come home

Re: Apologies
I'm having the same problem. The best way I have found is to f5 it until the tab says Cruise Community.
Perhaps David installed it to bring back happy memories of the old P&O forum. As they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

I was taught to be cautious

Re: Apologies
You can also repeat the ' Tab ' a few times and then delete the ones showing 503 errors.
Keep smiling, it's good for your well being

It isn't that bad though a couple of clicks and all's ok.

Re: Apologies
Still hit and miss David, with the following message regularly coming up and knocking me out of the site. I beginning to think tomorrows 'Mornin All' wasn't going to be happening. But there is a glimmer of hope
'Service Temporarily Unavailable

It's going in fits and starts for me (no -- that is not a Spoonerism opportunity folks!).
However, it can only get better - and it will be lovely for it to regain it's former rude health. Someone, somewhere is trying to fix this I guess - and I am obliged for that.

Re: Apologies
Oh good - it's not just me then! I tend to look through posts and if I fell like replying I get the error when I sign in. I just hit the favourites and it comes back up again.
Computery things - don't you just love 'em
I work with them in a roundabout way (telephone systems) and they are a constant challenge. I think they'll take over soon - The rise of the Machines and all that.

Re: Apologies
Well, just imagine if machines did a little bit more 'taking over' - what if we could check in for our cruises online??????
We could all do that a day or two before the cruise embarkation, then we would just have to input the payment card of choice and receive a downloadable item with a barcode on it. Then down at Southampton just pose for photo, zap the aforementioned barcode - and LAST ONE IN THE BAR'S A WIMP!!!
It could potentially put an end to those queues etc - do anyone think it could be a 'go' situation? Oh yes, I've forgotten the 'health declaration' which in many cases is not worth the paper it's printed on (having seen so many people coughing and sneezing whilst filling the in and alleging that they have no health probems).
Hmm - sorry to hijack this thread - Em

Re: Apologies
Nah - I think it's just that the P&O IT people taught the Smurf everything they know about running a forum. Must have taken all of 30 seconds !!

Re: Apologies
I know it's rather sad but I have been keeping a mental note of how many times I needed to hit the F5 key today to get the site to refresh. So far, the record is 13 !!
