Damn I missed it. Can you undelete it?
You missed nothing Sir Merv…It was nothing more than the usual culprits trying to make Onelife look a fool…. perhaps its best that you don’t comment on that
Make no mistake ... we were all laughing with you, not at you
I never doubted it Mob...

If you give it you've got to take it with a smile is my way of thinking.

Three Pubs opened on the 4th and were shut again by the 7th due to positive CV tests so I may put off our Sunday Roast at a pub for a little while longer ;)

I have no intention of going anywhere near a pub for the foreseeable future. Quite happy sitting down the garden soaking up the rays with a pint of something from Morri and Sons 🍺

It has merit but so does getting out of the village from time to time, one can eat outside under cover

I'm off to the dentist for a six month check up this morning. Does that count :)

They're not offering refreshments though, only a face mask 😷

At least you don’t have to queue up outside the gents hairdressers anymore…p’s I love the sound of the dentist drill as it grinds your teeth back to your gums…enjoy! :D

Trish is going for hers this afternoon.

p.s. you may have to take the mask off at some point.

I did ask if they made a slit in the mask for access. Made the receptionist that I know well laugh.

Good luck to Trish for her appointment. I recommend getting there early. My appointment was 10.10, got seen 10.50.

Apart from running late the dentists have to wait 10 minutes between seeing patients, and that's good. If they didn't have some special sanitiser gizmo in the consulting room it would be an hour between seeing patients.

Apart from the delay it was well all very well organised.

We popped down to Padstow yesterday and it was quite busy, but nothing like it usually is, but hardly a face mask in sight.
It seems that so far, the vast majority haven't taken to them, outside of the cities.

I've got my 6 monthly dental check up on Thursday. I've had to pay in advance as the reception desk will not be open. I have to ring the bell to be let in, escorted to my dentists room, then afterwards I will be let out of the side door, to keep to a one way system, I then have to phone for my next appointment to be booked.

Ours doesn't even let you ring the doorbell. Asks you to wait outside or in your car until they phone you to say they're ready.

Apparently if it's an "aerosol" treatment, such as drilling, they have to vacate the surgery and leave the windows open for 40 minutes, to leave time for the air to clear, before cleaning everything.

No spitting into the little sink now. You have to rinse from one cup of stuff and spit into another.

No suction while any work being done because of spray

No ultrasound descaling because of spray, now done manually, which is worse than the ultrasound method.

Apart from that....enjoy

Well I wonder how many hotels/restaurants etc will pass on the VAT reduction and how many will pocket the 15%?

We booked a Christmas/New Year break last week so it will be interesting to see what happens with the price.
